About Dr. Jonathan Swope

Dr. Jonathan Swope was born in Lubbock and has called Dallas home for the past 15 years. Although he spent his childhood on a small family farm in Georgia, he later returned to Texas and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. Throughout college, Dr. Swope worked as a server, where he discovered his passion for hospitality and learned the importance of taking care of others—a philosophy he carries into his dental practice today. Dr. Swope earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in the top 10 of his class and earning induction into the prestigious Odontological Honor Society. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education/General Practice Residency at the University of New Mexico. He has since completed the Implant Pathways dental implant continuum, earned licensure to administer oral conscious sedation, and received botox training from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Swope dedicates hundreds of hours each year to continuing education and is currently pursuing Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Swope will begin the prestigious Kois Dental Education Continuum—recognized for its rigorous clinical curriculum and excellence in advancing restorative and esthetic dentistry. When he’s not working, Dr. Swope enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling to new places.
