About Dr. Joseph Ricciardi
Dr. Joseph Ricciardi has been fascinated by dentistry since he was a child. He loves helping our patients improve their appearance and oral health.
Dr. Ricciardi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1986. He then went on to the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he received a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 1990. He also completed a general dental residency at Buffalo General Hospital in 1991.
Dr. Ricciardi is licensed to practice dentistry in both New York and New Jersey, and he has over 25 years of experience. He attends various continuing education courses each year and is committed to staying current on the latest technologies and advances in dentistry that will be most beneficial to our patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Ricciardi enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and reading.

I had never used Zocdoc but a bad experience with a previous dentist made me cautious. At my first visit here I knew I had found MY dentist. Smart - caring - efficient - listened to my concerns - and very good work.
He has a good online service which reminds me of my appointment - I can't say enough positive and encouraging about this dentist.

I have only had one visit, and it was an examination and creating a strategy for necessary works and upcoming visits. The doctor was friendly, efficient, very good at explaining what the situation was and his take on what needs to be done in future sessions. He listened to my opinion and made sure I understood everything that was being discussed. We planned appointments for four future visits over several weeks, and talked about a plan of action. After that. He carefully went through insurance, and schedules, so I know how long some of the procedures will take. I could not be more pleased with this visit, and I am looking forward to working with this doctor in the future.

Literally my first time meeting him and he was nothing more than welcoming. I’ve never had a dentist sit and explain everything they were doing before they did it and make sure I understood what was happening. What an incredible first impression.

Dr. Riccardi explained each step of the procedure before it's performance. He made the procedure as painless as possible. He also checked in after the procedure to see how I was coming along. His office is very clean and the staff, he and his wife, is pleasant and friendly. I HIGHLY recomend this doctor.

It took a long time for me to find a dentist I could feel comfortable with. Dr. Ricciardi is the "BEST". He takes his time to help you understand any procedures that are required. He works with my availability like no other ever could. I now have a dentist for life!!
