About Dr. Kasia Szary
As the head of the Mint team, I specialize in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. I graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry—where I was honored with the distinction of Top Operative Dentist—and completed my specialized training at the NYU Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry.
With extensive experience in advanced cosmetic restorative procedures, I was appointed as a clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, General Practice Residency. My ongoing commitment to the comfort of my patients inspired me to gain certification (through the prestigious DOCS Network) to administer Oral Conscious Sedation.
Outside the office, I love travel as well as languages—and am always up for sampling new foods and wines!

I got there early, but due to an error in texting I never got the paperwork, once I did; as I was filing the new patient documents I got told that my insurance , while accepted on zocdoc, it was not accepting by the office ex: epo vs. Premier. I was given a suggestion on where I should go but ultimately turned away.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. First, the dentist criticized my teeth in a very unprofessional way, saying they looked "older than my body" and not what they should look like for my age (I am 24). I had clearly verbalized that I am very uncomfortable with needles, yet at my second appointment (which was scheduled for my permanent crown placement), I was suddenly told I also had a filling booked, something that was never communicated to me beforehand. The dentist entered the room without even a hello, immediately reached for the anesthetic, and when I raised my hand to ask what she was doing, she gave no reassurance or explanation before proceeding. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I also have TMJ, when I opened my mouth for her to work, she said, “Jesus Christ,” and then told me I needed Invisalign to fix it. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic customer service-I will not be returning and strongly recommend others avoid this office if possible.

I've never seen a dentist who tried to upsell me on various aesthetic enhancements and it was kind of annoying because I’m here for my cleaning for HEALTH and never did I express interest in enhancing my smile (for the record, it's not like my teeth are egregiously bad or bad at all— always been complimented by my previous dentists!). The unsolicited aesthetic enhancement pitches came off strangely. She wasn't too pushy but, still, it feels like going to the doctor for a checkup and then the doctor offering to give you a nose job. The dental hygienist Athena did a great job cleaning my teeth, but was far too aggressive. When she checked my gums to see the depth/health, I was brought to tears because of how badly it hurt. This has never happened to me. I thought I was going to be left with holes in my gums with the way she was poking. When I told her how badly it hurt, she was dismissive. During the actual plaque removal, I felt like I was being waterboarded. I had water up my nose and all over the glasses, which had not been cleaned prior to me using them. It was obvious someone else had used them and they neglected to clean them. I was told the dentist was running 10-15 minutes behind. They asked if I wanted to wait, or come back. I had to use 2 hrs of PTO for this appointment, so I stayed. I ended up waiting 25 minutes. The dentist comes in wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. It seemed like she wasn’t busy with patients, but just had arrived to the office. I requested a release of records before leaving the appt.

I had an all-around amazing experience at Dr. Kasia Szary's office. I was met with very friendly front desk staff, followed by a sweet and knowledgeable tech. I had gone into my appointment quite nervous (it had been a long while since my last dentist appt and I have been experiencing pain in my mouth, so I had a feeling I was going to hear difficult news). Dr. Szary explained the issues happening with such grace, poise, and gentleness. She was extremely reassuring and kind and went out of her way to ensure I felt cared for. I'm starting on a longer-than-preferred dental needs journey, but I'm very grateful that I'm going through it with Dr. Szary and her team.

I neither like or trust this dentist.. are the exact words I said to a close friend of mine. She has to reschedule last minute too many times. Her chair side manner is awful. I emailed and left a message with the office first to request an appointment. No response or call back for over a week. so I went through zocdoc which required confirmation from the office first. They never reached out. Then out of the blue I get a text message from the secretary at the office asking if I could reschedule my appointment (that was apparently scheduled for that day) if I could come in the following day. When i said i didn't have an appointment bc they never reached out to confirm they said I booked it on Zoc doc. I explained AGAIN it required confirmation. I also explained I would never be seeing this dentist again. I have never had a dentist cancel like this before or be so unprofessional.

This office was really clean and modern. It was easy to find, easy and inexpensive to park since street metered parking is available and I had an excellent experience with the staff. I was 17 weeks pregnant and needed a few accommodations such as the bed being altered to accommodate my bad back and I had extremely sensitive teeth due to the hormone surge. The staff gave me topical anesthesia and my cleaning went on without a hitch. I am looking forward to my future visits here!
