About Dr. Kenn Kakosian
Dr. Kenn Kakosian, D.D.S., P.C., has been in the dental field for almost twenty years and holds several degrees. He first graduated from Dental School in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1983 and began working as an oral surgeon. He then received his Ph.D. on Temporo-Mandibular Disorder in Moscow in 1992. After moving to New York City, he attended New York University Dental School and graduated in 1997 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He opened his own practice in the Chrysler Building in 1999 and continues to practice there today.

One of the best dentist experiences! Bed side manners were great by all staff. All professionals knew their duties and there was clear communication for efficiency. Always made sure I understood what was planned and to be expected of all procedures.

Recommend Dr Kakosian have been going for years but first time back since the pandemic so Ive got quite a bit of dental work to do but I know from past experience I'll have my gorgeous smile back!

The doctor was quick, transparent and helpful. The nurse who did the cleaning did a phenomenal job and had the best bedside manners. Everything was 5 stars except for the receptionist; her demeanor felt a bit cold, non-empathetic and bit blase.

I went for an Invisalign consultation and it went extremely well. The assistants were extremely helpful and Dr. Kakosian was thorough in all his explanations. I definitely see myself working with Dr. Kakosian in the future.

Now that NYC is sort of reopening (post-COVID19), I felt very comfortable as the Receptionist was wearing a N95 mask + face shield...to the Dentist wearing a N95 mask...even to the Dental Hygienist dawning FULL PPE (gown + face shield + N95 mask).

Even though my visit was complimentary/free, Dr. Kakosian spent more than enough time with me and explained everything in detail. He is knowledgeable and friendly, and makes you feel very much at ease. As a medical professional myself, I was impressed. This is how a practice should be run.

I had a very enjoyable experience with Dr. Kakosian. He was friendly, personable, and honest throughout the entire process. The orthodontic treatment ran for the anticipated timeframe, but in two phases. I am very satisfied with the results. Additionally, I received enamel fillings and a round of bonding at the very end to crystallize the results. If you are considering treatment and are hesitant, please do not wait - prolonging only lengthens the treatment period. If you commit to the process and are diligent about wearing the aligners, you will achieve great results!

Dr Kakosian has been my dentist for years and I personally wouldn't let anyone else in my mouth. He has done an onlay, extraction, whitening for me all excellently done and at an efficient cost. Dr Irene sees my 9 yr old daughter who is never afraid to go to see her for any treatment. The two doctors are the best at their profession. Love them, the office staff is polite, and accommodating. And the office is gorgeous and clean!

I'm really glad I picked Dr. Kakosian as my invisalign provider. The process has been quick, less painful than braces and he is a wonderful dentist. He seems genuinely excited about my orthodontic progress and has dental recommendations for me based on my preferences, and comfort level with different procedures - not just dictating that I must have certain voluntary procedures like a few other dentists (hint: removing perfectly healthy wisdom teeth). I'm very happy with the service I've received from him so far so much so that I choose him over several dentists that I've tried in my insurance network

Dr. Kakosian is great. The staff were very friendly. I went in for an invisalign consultation and he was very knowledgeable regarding my oral heath and made sure that I had my gums/teeth checked and that I had no cavities before doing the scans for invisalign. They offer a discount for those who give entire payment on the same day which was great. I am looking forward to my future orthodontist visits with Dr. Kakosian.

He had someone else who was not a registered dentist numb me and start drilling a cavity. He said it was his wife who was registered in NJ and CT. He is dishonest and I was horrified at this experience.

He was very professional, happy to answer questions, and made me feel very comfortable. I recently moved here and was not sure what to expect but am happy to say that I will continue seeing Dr. Kakasian. He is also conveniently located RIGHT next to grand central which is great for those of us who work in the area.

Very unpleasant cleaning experience. "Cleaned" my teeth in 5 mins and didn't even pretend to care. My saliva and blood stained my dress shirt very bad during the procedure (thanks, doctor!).
The doctor tried hard only one thing: to talk me in some extensive and expensive service, which I absolutely refused to perform in his office.
Also, see his reviews on other websites and you will never come to this office.
