About Dr. Krista Mattson
Dr. Mattson earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, graduating cum laude. Following graduation, she served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy, where she was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
After completing her military service, Dr. Mattson was excited to relocate to Oregon and quickly fell in love with the Tualatin community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr. Mattson is committed to ensuring patient comfort while delivering high-quality restorative and cosmetic dentistry. As an active participant in continuing education, she stays at the forefront of advances in the field, providing her patients with the most comprehensive and up-to-date care available.

I was nervous to get to the dentist to address my tooth pain but Dr Mattson put me at ease with her diagnostic approach. I felt reassured by all the information she collected and how she conveyed it back to me. She was very intentional to keep her interventions painless and she and her staff were mindful of my anxiety and comfort level. I’m looking forward to finishing my treatment plan with her and plan to keep her as my regular dentist after my first visit today. I really appreciate her kind and thoughtful care.

I have followed Dr. Mattson over the years as she has moved her practice location. The Tualatin office is close, easy parking and a brand new build out with high tech equipment. She is a great dentist . I highly recommend her.

I've been seeing Dr Mattson for a long time at a few offices. She always does a great job with whatever I need. This last time was just a standard cleaning and checkup but she was great, as usual.

I can’t say enough good things about my dentist and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease — the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable. My dentist took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made the whole experience painless (literally and figuratively).
The office was spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest technology, which really made me feel confident in the quality of care I was getting. I left feeling great about my smile and actually looking forward to my next visit — something I never thought I’d say about going to the dentist!
If you’re looking for a dentist who’s skilled, caring, and goes above and beyond for their patients, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
