About Dr. Laurie Kane

Hello, I’m Dr. Laurie Kane, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Southern California. From there, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at UCLA and went on to pursue my Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Temple University Hospital. My love for dentistry started as a child—I actually enjoyed going to the dentist! During dental school, I realized that not everyone feels the same way. Over time, I came to understand how much early dental experiences shape the way people view oral health later in life. That insight drives my mission: to help children, especially those who are nervous or have had difficult experiences, feel comfortable, cared for, and supported at every visit. I’m passionate about creating a positive, lasting impression for my young patients and providing individualized, high-quality care in a comforting environment. When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter. I love traveling, being outdoors, exploring new restaurants, going to sporting events, and listening to music.
