I pay $600/month for my health insurance as a self-employed person. He assumed that I was on Medicaid and literally screamed to the entire office about how I couldn’t get x-rays because my insurance wouldn’t cover one in particular and that I couldn’t afford to pay for one. I can’t imagine how I would feel if I was low income and that’s awful. Just awful. He rushed, didn’t give me the time of day, and ultimately said he couldn’t help me and sent me to a specialist BUTA DIDN’T EVEN RECOMMEND ONE? I was left completely in the dark.
