About Dr. Lousine Kirakosian
Dr. Lousine Kirakosian is an experienced and well-recognized general and cosmetic dentist working with patients of all ages, utilizing the most advanced dental technology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California and continued her education through the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (ASPID) at USC, designed to equip qualified dentists from other countries with the knowledge and skills found in the United States. Her dedication as a dentist, combined with many years of personal and family experience, drives her devotion to her profession and her commitment to continually learning innovative techniques and materials available in today’s dentistry.
Dr. Kirakosian’s passion for dentistry began at an early age, following in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Vahagn P. Kirakosian (Ph.D., Professor, Academy of Dentistry International Member), a well-renowned dentist specializing in prosthodontics. He currently serves as the Assistant Dean and Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at the University of Traditional Medicine and was Chair of the Prosthodontics Department at Yerevan State Medical University for over 15 years. Beyond being a great father, Dr. Vahagn Kirakosian has been a mentor and guiding influence on Dr. Lousine Kirakosian’s professional journey. Through his continuous guidance and teaching, combined with her high level of medical education and experience, Dr. Kirakosian is truly a professional in her practice.
Her philosophy centers on understanding her patients’ needs and wants, ensuring they are always comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care and an impeccable experience. She is committed to discovering the underlying causes and getting to the root of each problem. By applying the principles of biological, health-based dentistry, Dr. Kirakosian effectively and comfortably helps her patients improve their oral and overall health and smile with confidence.

Awesome experience! A bit of a wait at first but the entire staff was apologetic and sent me on my way with a Starbucks gift card for my wait. The appointment was efficient, the staff was incredibly kind and friendly and the doctor communicated my issues and future needs clearly, sending me with two great referrals to see for specific problems. I chose this office based on its proximity to me AND the female staff (I have had negative experiences in the past with male providers) and everyone was so kind, gentle, and caring that I felt right at home — which is hard to say for most dental visits! Thank you, Dr. Kirakosian!

I was nervous because dentist appointments are usually a very unpleasant experience for me but Dr. K made it very comfortable and it went so much better than I could have imagined. After seeing Dr. K, I’m not super anxious when I go in for my appointments now. I’m glad to have found a great dentist in the LA area!
