Dr. LuAnne M. Curatola received her dental education from New York University College of Dentistry, and after completing a residency program, went into private practice. She has maintained private dental practices in Manhattan and Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
Dr. Curatola is a member of numerous professional leadership organizations, serving as President of several local dental study clubs. This has enabled her to bring national clinicians as speakers on the latest topics of cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Dr. Curatola is dedicated to health awareness, and brings the most current medical and dental information to her patients. She has chaired numerous philanthropic fundraisers, including Susan G. Komen, Breast Cancer Golf Outing. As the Young Professional Chairperson of the Second District Dental Society of New York, she was the state representative for dentists under 40 years of age to the National American Dental Association. She has presented lectures on the local and national level representing Women in Dentistry. As the mother of three daughters, she has continued to lecture to schools and children with relation to pediatric dentistry and career choices.

Wonderful experience with both Dr. Curatola and Dr. Zagami.
From the moment I arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming and notably thorough. The dental assistants were also exceptionally kind and attentive. I've often found that the quality of care is reflected in how happy the staff seems, and that really stood out here. It's clear there's a strong sense of respect throughout the practice.
Would absolutely recommend.

First visit got a very good impression. Office was well staffed and clean, but not too slick. Dr. Cutara (spelling?) did the cleaning herself. They fixed a minor issue and followed up with a plan for more work that included a clear breakdown of insurance covered and not covered expenses. Could not be happier.

Clear and consistent communication is rare to find in a dentist. I am told what is going on, why, how long it will take, and the purpose of it without any time being wasted. My comfort in the chair and with the overall experience is the clear priority of all staff whether it’s x rays or a cleaning and it is a positive and supportive environment. They also give you chapstick which I have been saying for years all dentists should do!

Dr. Curatola was fantastic! She let me know exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it. The other staff members were also so nice and helpful. And their office took my insurance as I listed it on Zocdoc.

I had a wonderful experience in this office with Dr. Curatola and her amazing staff. Everyone was so lovely, from the young lady at the front desk to the young man who took my x-rays to the doctor herself. I have a terrible fear of Dentists due to some really unfortunate incidents in the past, and everyone was absolutely accommodating and understanding. I look forward to continuing with Dr. Curatola for many years to come and highly recommend her to anyone. Especially if you have had a bad experience with a dentist before, Dr. Curatola and her wonderful staff will change your mind and show you that going to see the dentist does not have to be a bad experience.
