“The office staff, dental hygienist and Dr. Bishara were wonderful. The office staff went above and beyond to get everything set up and get me in for my initial exam, x-rays and cleaning. There were some road blocks with insurance, but they couldn’t have been any more kind and helpful!
The dental hygienist Debi took a lot of x-rays, as I expected being a new patient. She made sure she did them all as quickly as possible. I particularly liked that I was able to see all of the x-rays while Dr. Bishara discussed them with me later. Debi made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, from the x-rays to my cleaning. She was friendly and kind, and put me at ease.
Dr. Bishara spent time discussing my dental health and possible treatments, and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She never made me feel rushed and was very friendly.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Bishara and her practice!”

Dr. Maha Bishara is an experienced general dentist who believes in providing outstanding oral health care to the Shelby Charter Township, MI community. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong oral health.
Dr. Bishara earned her Doctorate degree of Dental Medicine at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, Boston Massachusetts; and previously she had her Bachelor degree of Dental Surgery at Baghdad University, College of Dentistry; Iraq-Baghdad.
She is trained in all aspects of dentistry, including but not limited to, root canal therapy, crowns, fixed and removable partial dentures, fixed dentures, cosmetic fillings, temporary crown and bridge fabrication, implant restoration. She is multilingual in English, Arabic, and Chaldean. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
Since she was at school and after her graduation she enjoyed giving back to her community and has participated in many volunteering activities including Special smiles events at Special Olympics, Boston, Massachusetts and seven Medical /dental missions to treat Iraqi and Syrian citizens displaced by ISIS in Beirut, Lebanon.
She received multiple Recognitions including the Michigan Dental Association for Member in Good Standing, the United Concordia for Outstanding Service as a Participating Dental Office, the Help Hospitalized Veterans for A Donor of The Year, and numerous Appreciation Certificates including American Diabetes Association, the Mayo Clinic, the National Children Cancer Society, the Protecting Women and Children, the St. Joseph’s Indian School and the Easter Seals.

The ladies at the front desk were wonderful! So sweet and helpful. They did everything in their power to help me and get me in where I needed because I ended up needed a oral surgeon right away !!! I recently moved to Detroit from FL, and was on the look out for a new dentist. Dr. Bishara's practice came highly reviewed, and I can see why. :)
The initial diagnostic/consultation process was more thorough than I've ever experienced as an adult patient, with oral cancer and gum health screenings in addition to the standard X-rays. And on top of that, every person I interacted with was friendly and helpful.
Worth the 40 min drive for a great experience. I highly recommend Pearly Smile Dental Studio and Dr. Bishara!

Dorene at check-in was super helpful. Everything regarding registration was paperless, which I enjoyed. Look no further if you're looking for the Best dental experience. Dr. Bishara and her Hard working team made me feel welcome at ease and ready to open my mouth and have them enter at their own risk and go to work. I was afraid when i walked in and was quickly put at ease. Long story short, i went in for damaged front teeth i haven't fixed since the 1800's and after, i been smiling ear canal to ear canal since i left the lovely studio and the hands of their professional smile making team. Don't play with your face like i did get your chops done right and go to Pearly smile and see Dr. Bishara and her team.
