“The office staff is as great the only issue I had is the guy who did my
X-ray had cero costumer service and hurt me while he was inserting the metal stick device to do the
X-ray he was not even gentle or ask me every time open you mouth he was just pushing the metal device and pulling out fast , he hurt me twice inside my mouth .
The Doctor was great and the office staff was great too .
Am not to sure if I will continue my treatment if I have the same guy every time they need to do x-rays.”

About Dr. Maia Montoya
Dr Montoya's philosophy is to provide good dental health emphasizing your physical and emotional comfort, while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Dr. Montoya graduated with honors from San Marcos University School of Dentistry in Lima-Peru in 2001.
In 2004 she attended USC School of Dentistry for a year of Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists and has dedicated her professional career to providing patients with outstanding dental care.
Dr. Montoya is continually participating in advanced training and continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, Los Angeles Dental Society, Latinos for Dental Careers and founding member of the Peruvian American Dental Association.
Dr. Montoya's goal is to provide quality services for her patients to achieve long term good dental health. She believes healthy and beautiful smiles can be possible with regularly scheduled appointments and proper preventive dental care.

Clean and professional environment. There was a small waiting area with seats. The chair had a massager built-in. The medical staff addressed my needs and communicated well about their recommendations. I did not feel rushed or poorly treated. There was street parking nearby.

This was my first time at the dentist in 10 yrs, so I was very nervous and had no idea what to expect. I made the appt due to my wisdom teeth pain. I ended up having the top 2 wisdom teeth removed and got a filling for one cavity. Through the whole appointment, Dr Montoya and all the staff were exceptionally kind and explained every step of the procedures to me. The office was pretty busy, but I still felt very well taken care of. Excellent service!

Clear, concise, not out to force anything that isn't necessary and had amazing bedside manner. Did not judge and I could tell she just wanted to help me get me make a gameplan for my teeth in the future. Really sympathetic to my gag reflex and did a great job at easing my nerves. Would absolutely recommend.

I had a visible big cavity in one of my molars, went to get a filling for the same. Dr. Montoya was very friendly and very descriptive of the procedures she was gonna do. She gave me a complete check up for all the teeth and gave me a description of possible cavities in other teeth. She did a fantastic job of filling the cavity. One of the good things I observed is that they were not forcing any procedures, and were very clear of doing what I would feel comfortable with.

My dad came here for a consultation and he was happy with his visit. He was going to another practice but after attending this one, he plans to change to this practice. He shared that they were nice, efficient, and provided good care for a reasonable cost. They are also pretty informed with insurance policy. He will be getting a crown completed here and will update on the results of that.

Dr. Montoya all the nurses/hygienists were really wonderful, communicative, and patient. Dr. Montoya put me at ease throughout the appointment (in which I got some unexpected fillings). I also appreciated that they communicated exactly what insurance would cover and what I'd need to pay out of pocket so I could make informed decisions. Overall great experience especially for not having been to the dentist in way too long.

All the women who work here are dental superstars/tooth fairies! I've recommended them to several people as well. Both wisdom tooth removal appointments have been a breeze and I barely experienced any discomfort during or after. They know exactly what they're doing and go out of their way to provide care.

Dr Montoya and her team are very sweet and very professional! I hadn’t been to the dentist in 7 years (yikes) and she was very kind while explaining my treatment plan and explaining the damage done, which was what I was most anxious about. They lay out all the information for you, including future charges and what your insurance can cover. This is the first time I’ve said this, but I am excited to go back and will be keeping her as my new dentist!

Dr. Montoya was everything I had hoped for in a dentist. I admittedly have waited far too long since my last time seeing a dentist and I was very nervous. She took her time to walk me through every step of the process before and after and was very gentle and calming throughout. She held me accountable for my dental health while not sounding judgmental or making me feel embarrassed. I'm so happy to have found a dentist that I feel comfortable seeing for many years to come!

Most professional and organized dentist visit I’ve ever had. The receptionist were very resourceful and helpful. The dentist was so nice and gentle with my teeth that I did not feel a thing . I had a wisdom tooth extraction done in under a minute.

Dr. Montoya has been a god send and I am so incredibly grateful to have found hear so close by. I have brought my entire family here to see Dr. Montoya. She was incredibly gentle and that made me very comfortable. Her office staff was also incredibly professional and worked with me via phone and email to book appointments and were mindful of my time. When I arrived I was able to get seated quickly. I used to dread coming to the dentist and now I am happy when I book an appointment knowing I am getting the best treatment and that my family is too.

Dr. Montoya was very pleasant and professional, even with a busy office first thing on a Monday morning. She took the time to explain my X-rays and further treatments. I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease, even though I had been guilty about not seeing a dentist for over 5 years.
