I had a laser treatment with Dr Gomez today. She was wonderful. She patiently guided me thru the treatment and made sure I wasn't in pain. She called a few hours later to check on me and make sure I was taking the medications she prescribed. A wonderful experience, she is really a kind woman and a great doctor.

Dr. Gomez is not only an exceptionally talented doctor, but she has a terrific bedside manner - a rare combination these days. She is assisted by very capable and courteous staff. I was extremely satisfied with her attention to detail and her willingness to answer all my pre-op and post-op questions. The gum graft surgery went very smoothly thanks to her great skill and caring treatment. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone who is in need of oral surgery.

Came for dental implant recently & she kept blaming my mouth that is too small for her to do the procedure well. I've had dental work done in the past -apicoectomy , root canal , orthodontics but those dentists never made a comment about the size of my mouth. Her dental assistant doesn't apply lip balm on the lips before the procedure . They don't have the appliance to hold mouth wide while she does the procedure . They don't care with your dry lips & mouth ( because of continuous suctioning ) how it hard it is to keep your mouth wide open . She got annoyed when i had to take time out to rinse & moisten my mouth with water . She got annoyed & yelled at me when I winced when she gave me the parenteral anesthesia. I was shocked & never expected her to be this rude , she probably thought i was overreacting. She kept saying insincere apologies & asked how amI doing when she doesn't really care at all how i felt . I didn't find her light handed when she tried to insert the dental abutment for my implant - hits my lips & expect you not to winced . The dental abutment slipped from her hand , good thing I was able to catch it with my tongue & not swallow it . My experience may not be the same for other patients . Probably I was the only one among her patients she had a hard time doing the implant / abutment because of my anatomy . I just wish it wouldn't happen to anyone especially when you had invested time & money for costly& lengthly dental procedure & treatment .I left crying in disbelief and walked out of her clinic that day because I cannot reconcile the person with all her credentials , positive reviews , accolades and their business advertisement is capable of doing it to me as her patient. Until now i'm still in shocked & disbelief and i'm trying to look for answers .if there is one thing I am 100 % sure of , i've never been a difficult patient to any of my doctors except perhaps to Dr. Gomez .

Dr. Gomez is a BRILLIANT dentist who does extraordinary dental implants, laser, and all things related to saving your teeth and gums.
For those who have "Dental Phobia" Dr. Gomez is caring, understanding, and will take the time to make you feel at ease.
This is my first ever review of a Dentist and if I could review each and every time I visited Dr.Gomez - and, I have, my glowing review would keep on growing and growing.

DO NOT GO TO HER FOR ANY ANNUAL DENTAL WORKS!!
I went for an annual check up and cleaning which was clearly covered by my insurance in 2011. She billed me incorrectly and had multiple phone calls addressing the issues. We finalized came to terms that it is covered by insurance and agreed that there was no outstanding bill (only after multiple calls to her office and my insurance company). Then her office called me out of blue today (April 2015) and told me I had outstanding bills. I asked them (multiple calls by different people) to check their record first but they refuse to listen and continue to harass me on my way to work (calls were before 9 for me since I'm now in the west coast).

x-rays are required for any consultation with this doctor. I got x-rays done just to be recommended to a different specialist.
Unnecessarily deep dental cleaning was recommended. I declined.
There were more references about my height than my dental health (I am borderline midget) - I was also asked for my parents insurance repeatedly. I was clearly alone and not a child.
