Dr. Mariam Ahmad is a pediatric dentist devoted to shaping confident smiles from the very first visit. She earned her dental degree from New York University’s College of Dentistry, where she
graduated as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence and clinical achievement. She then went on to complete her specialty training at Montefiore Medical Center, where she received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Her advanced training focused on behavior guidance, preventive measures, minimally invasive treatment, restorative dentistry, sedation, and care for children with special needs. As a pediatric dentist, she believes that every child deserves to feel confident and comfortable at their visit. Her philosophy centers on trust, prevention, and gentle care. She takes the time to educate both children and parents, helping families build strong foundations for lifelong healthy habits. She strives to make each visit positive, educational, and even fun.Dr. Mariam is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements in pediatric oral health to provide the highest standard of care.Outside the office, she enjoys reading, watching K-dramas, and traveling with her husband. Provider was prepared with different ways to entertain child during the first visit. Provider was flexible with child refusing to lay back on his chair. With my assistance in holding child, calm voice of provider, and quick work, child had his first cleaning.

Great visit. Our son, who usually had dental fears, came in this time and was immediately calmed by the doctor's assurance and soothing words. The doctor was very attentive to our concerns and provided excellent examination and guidance.
