About Dr. Matthew Bellafiore
A graduate of the highly esteemed New York University Dental School Doctor of Dental Surgery DDS program, Dr. Bellafiore is thrilled to have had the privilege of serving New York residents for over twenty years. He and his staff want to make sure that they merit your trust and confidence by making you feel welcome and safe and understood, and by focusing on advanced training and innovative technology.
He and his staff are passionate about continuing education. Dr. Bellafiore maintains membership with the Student/Alumni of the Pankey Institute for advanced dental education and the Peter Dawson Center for advanced dental studies. In doing so, he has completed five continuums at the Pankey Institute and four continuums at the Peter Dawson Center. Dr. Bellafiore continues to take extensive courses in dental implants. He received fellowship status and is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) for implant surgery and implant restorations, is certified in Invisalign and is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Northeastern Society of Periodonists and Alumni of the Pankey Institute
In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, and four children Matthew, Julia, James and Jack. He also enjoys woodworking, playing his guitar, running, biking, skiing, gardening, and opera.

Didn't end up getting seen by the doctor I booked the appointment with. Also, the hygienist was extremely rough when doing the cleaning—it was the most painful cleaning I've ever had done. Would not recommend coming here, and I don't plan to go back

Excellent dentist. He went above and beyond in my root canal remediation and putting the crown on. He gave such thorough, expert and empathetic care. I’m really grateful I got to see Dr. Bellafiore. My tooth has been causing me so much pain, post procedure I feel an immediate difference (I don’t use pain killers and have been feeling relief despite not being on them!). Additionally, the front desk and nurses were extremely warm and friendly. They kept me really well informed about the billing and insurance coverage. Thank you to everyone at Dr. Bellafiore’s office for the excellent treatment! I highly recommend them!

The staff at the front desk were super friendly and welcoming. I even got a 'nice to meet you!' as I left, which impressed me, The dental hygienist Melinda was a rockstar, and went above and beyond to give me a great teeth cleaning. Well I am beginning to take care of some dental work that I have procrastinated doing for a very long time. I went in for a consultation and immediately felt very comfortable. Dr Bellafiore and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable and took the time to explain everything that needed to be done, what my insurance would accept and what my responsibility would be. I have started my procedures and had a deep cleaning last week and I have to say there was no pain at all. I have a lot more to go. But I feel very comfortable here and am now looking forward to getting the work done that I need.

Awesome group of people there. From the receptionist to the hygienist to the doctor. I have two kids and have had a couple of appointments now with them and everytime regardless who's working always a very friendly and relaxed experience. Dr. Matthew Bellafiore was and still is a selfless treasure. I was in middle school during my first patient visit. He had a different office location at the time. Two decades later, he's the only dentist I know (outside of recent referrals). Excellent bedside manner, true professional, highly intelligent. Most importantly, you can tell he genuinely cares. He is both attentive and nurturing. His office is very easily accessible by public transportation, parking can be difficult but isn't impossible, and the office accepts all forms of payment. He's here to make your life easier.

The staff at Dr. Bellafiore's office are so kind and professional. It is obvious that they genuinely care about your oral health and make recommendations based on prevention, rather than just making fixes as you come in.
The size of the office means that you get highly individualized care, but that you may have to wait a little while in the waiting area.
