About Dr. Matthew Hausserman
Providing the most advanced dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere is the priority of Dr. Matthew Hausserman.
Dr. Hausserman is a lifelong resident of New York City. He is a graduate of St. John's University and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.
After graduation, Dr. Hausserman immediately contributed to the United States Army, where he served as a Captain in the US Army Dental Corps. While stationed in Germany, he not only advanced his skills in general dentistry but was also named Preventative Dental Officer, Radiation Safety Officer, and led a clinic that supported multiple units pre- and post-deployment to the Middle East.
Dr. Hausserman is dedicated to postdoctoral study and comprehensive dentistry, providing his patients with a gentle, caring, and thorough approach to oral health. He believes in conservative, preventative dentistry, with the goal of increasing the longevity of his patients' teeth.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the New York Dental Association and manages a wide array of patient concerns. TMJ pain, bad breath/halitosis, implants, tooth extractions, and wisdom tooth problems are his specialties. He has also furthered his skill set in prostheses, surgical extractions, and endodontics.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Hausserman enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, hiking, and traveling.

He was very nice, noticed an urgent issue and immediately referred me to a dental specialist to get it fixed. Checked up on me after and set up an appointment to do deep clinic. Minimal pain during anesthesia and no pain during procedure even though I have sensitive teeth. He kept checking to make sure I was comfortable and had no pain. Highly recommended!
