About Dr. Sherry Maz
Dr. Maz is a dedicated and compassionate general and cosmetic dentist based in Mahwah, NJ. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed postdoctoral training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. Dr. Maz was invited by the dean to serve as an instructor of operative dentistry at Columbia University, NewYork-Presbyterian. She is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the Golden Key National Honor Society. Dr. Maz has extensive knowledge and experience in conscious oral sedation and is certified in Noble Biocare implants to replace missing teeth, as well as Invisalign. She is also CPR and Basic Life Support certified. Dr. Maz has managed and treated a variety of oral complaints, including halitosis and broken teeth. Some of the procedures she offers include teeth whitening, gum surgery, laser dental treatment, root canals, and tooth extractions. Our staff will contact you to obtain your insurance information, especially if it is under another family member. Dr. Maz is the owner, supervisor, and link between all our wonderful providers.

Dr. Maz is fantastic. The whole practice is just lovely. Everyone's very friendly and gentle.
Once I went in for tooth pain but it turned out I misremembered my appointment date and went in a day early--they saw me anyway! (I had to wait about an hour, but they squeezed me in, which is the important thing.)

I received a root canal and the receptionist was extremely informative about insurance coverage. The on-sight endodontist was very understanding and informative about the procedure and my needs. Just a great dental office and team I highly recommend Dr. Maz and her staff!

The receptionist was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the insurances accepted. The dentist and entire staff were so friendly. I needed a complicated extraction done so they called an oral surgeon for me and set up an appointment for me the same day. Everything was done for me, including sending over my x-rays.

I am beyond impressed with the quality of care at Advance Dental Care doctors. Doctor Maz is amazing. She is so caring and patient. She explains everything ahead of time. I gag during dental procedures. She is so patient, she gives me breaks. She adjust how she does the procedure to walk around my gagging, even stands up while working, so I feel less anxious. She is great with dental anxiety & has sedation certificate of training. She also helped me arrange payment plans. She puts patient quality of treatment above all & she is very ethical. I can't ask for a better dentist & office.

Dr. Mac and her staff were great. Dr. Mac took the time to explain all procedures to me and also answered all my question with such patience. Any fear I had at the beginning of my appointment was gone by the end thanks to the doctor and her staff. I had the best cleaning of my life at this office. I would recommend this office to anybody looking for a new dentist. the fact that the office has specialist on staff means I never have to go to another office again. Which is very comforting since I know the staff is so friendly in this office.
