I've been going to Dr. Tuft for 2 years now +/-. She is excellent. Explains everything, always asks if I'm doing ok, while she is working on my teeth. Her Staff is great! The receptionist is always so nice and a pleasure to chat with. Cindy who works with Dr. Tuft is awesome. Everyone in the office is super great! I love that Dr. Tuft actually sits and "chats" for a minute, before she gets into "filling" a cavity or something of that nature! I highly recommend Dr. Tuft and her team. I'm going back to get my teeth whitened!!! Can't wait!

Dr. Melissa Tuft grew up in Palo Alto, California. She had braces as a young adult, beginning her appreciation for straight, clean, healthy teeth.
Dr. Tuft is certified for Invisalign® and is a "Preferred Provider for Invisalign for 2010" — invisible braces — attaining Level 2 Certification, the highest level of training available to general dentists by Align Technology.
Dr. Tuft enjoys her off time with her two daughters, working out, traveling and horse back riding.

My visits with Dr. Tuft are always great! She's very kind and knowledgeable and her assistant, Cindy, is able to pass along a lot of useful information for post-appointment care. Both women, and Deb at the front desk, make my visits efficient and relatively painless!

I've been a patient of Dr Tuft since the early 80s. That itself should say a lot. I've had preventive care and treatments including crowns. All as painless as that sort of thing can be. She has a good sense of humor and a gentle touch.
Recently, a bonded front tooth repair she done in the mid nineties finally failed after many miles of smiles. I understood that ten years was a pretty good life span for this kind of cosmetic repair and I got almost twenty. Dr. Tuft re-bonded the tooth and Leonardo DaVinci couldn't have matched the color any better.
You can tell she keeps her office up to date with the latest dental technology and it is always spotless. Her staff makes good use of the web and telephone for making and keeping appointments. Her entire team is attentive and it's clear they like working together.
Last but not least, the historic skyscraper at 450 Sutter is one of the most beautiful in San Francisco. The Art Deco lobby and marble lined elevators are a real treat. And the view from the dentist's chair 16 floors is quite soothing.

I have been a patient of Dr Tuft's for many years and, as much as it is possible when the visit involves people poking around in one's mouth, I always enjoy the experience.
Everyone is friendly, professional and dedicated to keeping your teeth healthy and to making you comfortable while dental work is being performed.
Dr Tuft is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, with an excellent eye towards esthetics. I can always trust her treatment advice.
