Then Dr Fathi reviewed each of those with me live and explained everything so clearly. Her bedside manner was so warm. On top of the people, the office is gorgeous, clean and a calming experience. I’m actually excited to go back to the dentist. Highly recommend.”

About Dr. Marjan Fathi
Dr. Marjan Fathi graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She received Honors in Cosmetic Dentistry and certification from the program at NYUCD. Dr. Fathi continued her training in a post-graduate residency program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is certified in Invisalign clear orthodontics and regularly attends dental seminars and courses. She is gentle and caring, always ensuring that patient care comes first.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the local San Francisco Dental Society. Dr. Fathi resides in San Francisco and, in her spare time, enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys yoga, TRX, traveling, and learning new hobbies.

Booked an appointment at 3:10 PM on ZocDoc and this was registered as a 3:00 PM appointment for which I showed up there at 3:14.
Dr. Fathi spent all of 10-15 minutes with me after I spent about 20 minutes in the waiting area because the she was finishing up with somebody else, another 30 minutes getting X-Rays of my teeth done with obviously dated equipment.
Dr. Fathi's explanation were very superficial and was asked to visit 2-3 specialized doctors to get a better opinion. While specialists could give me an accurate understanding, her terse explanations were not satisfactory and more concerning.
Dr. Fathi advised me to get a cleaning done but refused to perform any treatment on my teeth during the first visit and was told that I should've been here earlier (so that I could fill the forms faster, lol). This was clearly a bogus claim since I was made to wait at least 15 minutes after I arrived (which was "late").
Unfortunately, my experience did not inspire confidence in her.

I found the location to be easy to get to, clean, chic, with a stunning view! From the receptionist to the dental assistant to Dr. Fathi, everyone was so thoughtful and kind! They knew their stuff and I was extremely happy! 10/10 would recommend!

I feel like I was given the run around from this office.
First time, was when I booked my second appointment. The dentist herself said she’d block out 90 minutes for the appointment, so she could work on my teeth.
I drive all the way into San Francisco, fighting Friday traffic, just to find out that the dentist wouldn’t be working on my teeth that day.
So I give her a pass, and buy her line about the next appointment, where she stated again, about blocking out enough time to work on my teeth. And on a specific day, so that she could really just concentrate on me!!!!
I should have known something was off with that office, because when anyone who paid as much as she did, to get an education, is booking her own appointments, and answering her own phones, that should be a “red flag”!
But I went along with her charade, and thought I had yet a third appointment coming up. Only to get a text message, that my newest appointment had just been cancelled! No phone call!

I have been a patient of Dr. Fathi for years because of the exemplary dental care she provides. I've had many issues with old silver fillings, gum recession, and an inlay needed for a large cavity. She addressed all issues and it has held for years. My oral health is important to me, which is the reason I’ve entrusted Dr. Fathi with all my dental issues.

The receptionist at the front desk, Beverly, wasn't exactly friendly. She kept asking a bunch of personal questions about my plan if I didn’t want to continue with having my treatment there , and called multiple times during the workday, to confirm an appointment, as if email didn't exist. Then there was Maryam, the assistant, who used the suction like she was vacuuming my mouth, and it left me with a jawache after those x-rays. It was super uncomfortable! Honestly, a place that's all about care shouldn't have people with that kind of energy. On the plus side, the dentist herself was professional and gentle during the procedure, but her team kinda made the whole thing pretty rough.

My experience with skyline dental was amazing! Everyone at the office is so kind and really cares. It’s easy to get appointments and no wait times! The office is conveniently located if you work or live downtown (and has amazing views while you get your tech cleaned to make the experience even better!) I highly recommend dr fathi and her colleagues to everyone

I’ve had so much traumatic dentist-related experiences as kid growing up… so much that as an adult, I avoid going if I can. I made sure to let Dr. Fathi know my anxiety, and she (and staff) made me feel so much at ease! Today, I just got a deep cleaning from Dr. Manny who I would definitely come back again for dental work go forward. It was a corrective experience that changed my outlook on going to the dentist.

It is so difficult to find the right dentist nowadays - everyone seems to just want to make money off your teeth. Well, I can say Dr. Fathi isn't like that. She is very thorough and conservative in her approach, and is very respectful of her patients. I really appreciated the time she spent in examining my teeth, figuring out a quick solution (that worked) to some pain I was experiencing, and giving me a plan to take care of my teeth that wouldn't break my wallet.
