It takes a unique doctor to be able to treat patients to the highest standard of care while also being able to connect with each person on an individual basis. Dr. Cook is that kind of guy! At some point in your treatment, you will likely hear him telling someone that he definitely has the best job in the world!
Dr. Cook understands the incredible impact that orthodontics can have on a child, adolescent or even an adult’s self-image. “Nothing is more rewarding than watching my patients gain greater self-esteem and confidence as their smiles improve at each visit. It is definitely true for my younger patients, but it happens all the time with adults as well!”
As a native of Utah, Dr. Cook served a mission in Milano, Italy, where he developed a love for the Italian language, the people and certainly the food! He then completed four years of dental school in Louisville, Kentucky, graduated summa cum laude and continued his orthodontic pursuits by getting accepted into the prestigious orthodontic program at the University of Louisville. He spent the next two years earning his orthodontic certificate and a master’s degree in oral biology. Dr. Cook is also part of the elite few doctors to be certified with the American Board of Orthodontists.
Although Dr. Cook loves to have fun, he takes his clinical role very seriously. For approximately eight years, he partnered as a clinical research consultant for a reputable orthodontic manufacturer, Opal Orthodontics by Ultradent, which is locally based in South Jordan. Being involved in the research stage of new innovations has allowed Dr. Cook to implement cutting-edge technology quickly. Dr. Cook also lectured throughout the country to other orthodontists on various specialized topics.

Dr. Cook and his staff are the best!! They explain everything that they'll be doing before doing it. Having been to an other orthodont for my older daughter. I really appreciate Dr. Cook's conservate approach treatment.

Dr. Cook's patience and kindness was exceptional. My son has autism and has many sensory issues. Dr. Cook made thing less scary for him and explained things before he worked on him which makes things so much easier. Impressed w/all the staff they were all great and personal. Fun office!

The staff was very welcoming and warm. Dr. Cook didn't rush my child into treatment to start making money out instead took an educated wait and see approach. I appreciate being given options and being given the opportunity to be an active member in the decision-making process.
