About Dr. Michael Gertsen
Michael Gertsen is a thorough and compassionate dentist practicing in Lighthouse Point, FL. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he was exposed to the latest dental technology and techniques. He is committed to continuing education to provide the newest and best treatments available to his patients.
Dr. Gertsen offers general dental consultations, single-visit CEREC crowns, veneers, cleanings, dentures, teeth whitening, extractions, and more as part of the father-son dental team at Dental Spa in Lighthouse Point. Growing up in the dental office, he developed a passion for dentistry, evident in his dedication to ongoing learning and active participation in local dental study clubs.
Helping people and giving back to the community have always been priorities for Dr. Gertsen. As former president of the Nova Southeastern chapter of Alpha Omega, he helped organize the Oral Cancer Awareness 5K Run and Walkathon. During dental school, he also participated in two medical mission trips to Jamaica. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic.
