“I chipped a tooth and was devastated—especially since it had already been treated by another dentist. I left that office in tears and found Pearly White Dental Studio. From the first call, Tammy was amazing—kind, patient, and truly caring. She reassured me and listened without rushing. The next morning, I was greeted warmly, and even with a 7 a.m. appointment, the energy was welcoming. Dr. Heiss was incredible—he explained my options, respected my budget, and took his time sculpting my tooth. He asked if I was happy and made adjustments until I was. I’ve never had a dentist care that much. I left with my confidence restored—no gap, no uneven tooth, just my smile back. I even booked a cleaning right after. Huge thanks to Tammy, Steph, and Dr. Heiss for turning a stressful experience into a wonderful one. I’ve found my forever dental team!

Dr. Heiss attended Touro College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society and completing an Advanced Clinical Education program in orthodontics. Since then, he continued his training with a very surgically oriented post-doctoral residency program spent serving an underserved population at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. There, he received further training in all aspects of dentistry, including veneers, dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, and root canals. Dr. Heiss gets excited about offering comprehensive dental care and building relationships with his patients.
When Dr. Heiss is not seeing patients, he is usually spending time with his friends and family at the beach, on the ski slopes, playing his guitar, trying (unsuccessfully) to learn how to surf, or cheering on his favorite sports teams (Mets, Giants, Islanders, and Knicks).

It was my first visit here and I found the staff to be very friendly. Dr. Heiss and his staff answered all the questions I had and were super helpful. I also loved the decor of the office. I will continue to go here for my dental needs.

Amazing experience! Tammy helped with all my insurance questions and gave me a quick tour of the office. Stephanie was being shadowed by a med student Brittany and they both made me feel comfortable and informed. Stephanie was warm and welcoming and explained what steps were next with Dr. Heiss. Once the doctor came in he asked me the usual questions and if I had any concerns. He proceeded to explain everything he saw in my xRays and then got to the cleaning. He was very thorough and great at conversation (couldn’t answer much) but it was appreciated. Brittany was observing while Dr.Heiss explained every tip and trick he had which really made me feel good knowing that my Doctor loves what he does. Already have 2 more appointments coming up. So excited to return :)

I visited Dr. Heiss after the retirement of my previous dentist. Upon entering his office his staff greeted me immediately, confirming my insurance info. Dr Heiss then set me up for a full set of X-rays as a new patient explaining that he planned to treat me holistically. He then completed a thorough examination and cleaning. Luckily, he reported my teeth were in good condition and all previous dental work was holding up well. He then discussed my desire for a tooth whitening and my concern about it increasing my tooth sensitivity. He addressed my concerns and explained the benefits. His staff then scheduled my six month check up. He did not pressure me to get the whitening procedure but welcomed me to schedule an appointment at my convenience if I wanted to go ahead with the procedure. I searched for many years before finding my last dentist, who I was quite happy with. Luckily, I have found a dentist I’m even more comfortable with. I highly recommend making an appointment ASAP.

Dr Heiss was thorough, professional, and personable. He took the time to investigate each tooth and gave a complete description of the options available for a treatment plan. Dr Heiss answered any and all questions with patience and sensitivity. He was very gentle during the procedure. I am very lucky to have found this new dentist and would recommend him to anyone.
