Dr. Michael Nguyen strives to exceed your expectations about visiting the dentist by providing modern care that is personalized, comfortable, and convenient.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Nguyen attended Stuyvesant High School and studied biological psychology at Brooklyn College. In 2008, Dr. Nguyen received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Stony Brook University. Immediately after graduating from dental school, Dr. Nguyen proudly served as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy, earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was stationed in historic Norfolk, VA, in scenic Oak Harbor, WA, and on the open seas aboard the aircraft carrier USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN72).
Upon returning home from military service, Dr. Nguyen pursued advanced training in aesthetic dentistry, dental implants, and root canal therapy at New York University, completing over 450 hours of continuing education in three years. He earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) in 2017.
Dr. Nguyen is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest in dental technology in order to enhance his patients’ overall experience. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but finds the most reward in building long-term relationships with his patients.
Dr. Nguyen loves exploring New York City with his wife Fate, his large extended family, and his friends. He also loves to play guitar and sing karaoke.

I've been to Dr. Nguyen's office twice now for a dental cleaning and have had a wonderful experience both times. Dr. Nguyen is excellent at patient education, taking the time to show me x-rays/photos of my teeth and include me in the process. Him and his staff are attentive and very hospitable! They have blankets if you're cold, tv's to watch in the room (help put the patients at ease) and hot face towels to use once your visit is complete. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen!

Quite possibly the best dentist I have ever been to - he was courteous, the office was sparkling clean, and the waiting room was comfortable. He and his dental assistant put me at ease instantly. You can even watch Netflix during the entire visit (yep, tvs on the ceiling!) which makes the visit go by quickly. I chose him because he has a special for new patients without insurance and was located in the neighborhood. I will be going back to see him in 6 months - and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in the LIC area.

I found the best Dentist (DDS) Office in New York City.
If you are not happy with your dentist or if you just want to give a try stop going anywhere this dentist is right close to queens boro plaza long island city, (N,W, R & 7 also close to (E&M) 2 step walk and u r there. This office have all high tech devices and they are running a very good promotion, Its my gurantee you are going to love your stay. I enjoyed my visit they will give you warm / cold neck pillow , cold cover for your eyes and a cold towel to wipe WOw am i in SPA or dental office. Super Amazing. I barely right such reviews but this was my all time best expirence, Staff are super friendly and pretty easy to go. So say goodbye to all your old school dental office and give this place a try i bet you are going to fall in love with their service. He is trustworthy and listen carefully to your issue. Their All New Technology is simply awesome. 5 stars. So try it before they will end their promo.

This is easily the nicest medical/dental office I've ever been in. The receptionist, Fate, is bubbly, polite, and a real pleasure to interact with. After the appointment she almost immediately sent an email detailing everything that was discussed, as well as price points for all the different options I had for my procedures. The office hours are great, and the dentist and his assistant were courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Dr. Nguyen discovered the issue of my toothache almost immediately, after my last dentist spent 3 sessions twiddling his thumbs. I highly recommend this dentist!

I had a wonderful first experience at Dr. Michael Nguyen's office. The front staff were extremely hospitable and offered me complimentary beverages. I did not have to wait more than 2 minutes before I was seen, which is always a good thing! Dr. Nguyen did an excellent job with my dental cleaning. I was able to watch tv during the procedure (instead of staring at a blank wall!) and was given a nice neck pillow to wear. Before I left, Dr. Nguyen ensured all my questions were answered and even gave me a take home sheet that went over everything we discussed together during the visit. Overall, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my experience was stress-free. I will definitely continue to visit Dr. Nguyen's office for all my dental needs.

Great dentist practice in Ct Square in LIC. He has some pretty high tech x-ray stuff going on but lots of patient-friendly amenities to make one comfortable.
Ranging from streaming Netflix on the ceiling while you're getting your teeth cleaned to a neck pillow, or a play area in the lobby for kids, this place is great.

I went to see Dr. Nguyen for the toothache that had been bothering me for weeks. He was very reassuring, he thoroughly explained what was happening and what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that the whole (root canal) procedure was painless. I even fell asleep. And no more toothache since then!
Dr. Nguyen is very professional, gentle, nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant and I was notified as soon as Dr. Michael Nguyen became available. Dr. Nguyen is caring and gentle with me. He explained to me what to be done and what to expect. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedures and adjusted accordingly. I did not feel rushed and was pleasantly surprised when he called at night to follow up and to ask if I feel any pain.
I have various procedures done by Dr. Nguyen, including Invisalign and veneer. I strongly recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone who needs a caring, gentle dentist who knows how to put patient’s needs and comforts first and foremost.
