“I took my 6-year-old daughter Riley to see Dr. Katz, and I’m so glad we found her. Dr. Katz was incredibly gentle and kind with Riley, which made the whole experience so much easier. I was honestly stressed about taking her to the dentist, but Dr. Katz immediately made us feel comfortable, and I know she will be Riley’s dentist moving forward. The entire staff was wonderful as well—everyone was warm and welcoming. I forgot the assistant’s name, but she was also so nice and patient. Dr. Michelle Katz completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry. At NYU, Dr. Katz participated in two outreach programs to Nicaragua to provide dental healthcare to a community lacking the proper resources to receive dental care. Dr. Katz attended Montefiore Medical Center and completed a one-year general practice residency. Dr. Katz pursued her specialty training in Orthodontics at Jacksonville University. Dr. Katz ‘s affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontics and American Dental Association.

The consultation was very informative. She took pictures and explained everything. The consult fee was a let down though. Others we went to did free consults. Decided on someone else.

She was horrible with the cleaning. I had to see her last minute because my retainers had come off. When I returned home to see my usual doctor, he had to do all the rework because she had done such a horrible job.

I think ZocDoc needs to be a bit more clear. This is a very basic orthodontist that only really can offer braces or whitening. I was hoping to have someone who could offer other options for me but quickly realized I would not have this choice (for example basic dental options like fixing a chip in a tooth, veneers, etc). I would not have gone to the appointment if I had known this. I also asked the receptionist how much the co pay was in an email and she didn't answer. Wouldn't have gone had I known how high it was.

My visit at Dr. Katz office was great. The staff is very friendly & I was seen immediately. Even if I had to wait I wouldn't have minded; each room has a TV & I felt right at home! Dr. Katz took the time to listen to my concerns aesthetically financially & come up with a treatment plan to meet all my needs. Highly recommended office.
