Dr. Mitchell Charnas, D.M.D., received his undergraduate and graduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and performed his general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Wow! New patient here and I cannot reccomend this office enough. Everyone was so patient and pleasant. The receptionist kindly waited as I gathered my documents, the office manager explained the payment and charges in an easy to understand nature. The assistant was so easy to talk to and helpful, the doctors bedside manner was impeccable! Turns out I have a lot more work than was expected but they didnt turn me away and helped me to schedule a follow up that would work with my schedule.

It is always a pleasant experience in this office. The staff is very friendly and professional. They definitely take away the dental office anxiety that I used to feel. Dr. Charnas is extremely friendly, kind and caring. He doesn't rush and is very patient answering all of my questions. His work is superior compared to other dentists I have been to.

I literally never post reviews but felt the need to share. I couldn’t have had a better experience at this office. The staff was beyond warm and welcoming, even when my appointment was inputted wrong and they didn’t originally have me in for a cleaning they moved things around and stayed later in order to fit me in! Couldn’t recommend more!

I HATE going to the dentist. Always have. But my cleaning crew was so engaging, positive, and calming that it was a breeze. Im actually not terrified to go back for a cleaning for once. Would 100% recommend Dr Charnas and his team.

I compared Dr Charnas with roughly 10 other dentists on Zocdoc and I could not be happier with my choice! The last dentist I had seen was the family dentist whom I was never fond of. Thanks to Zocdoc and Manhattan Dental Spa I wont have to see the family dentist ever again!
The hygienist that did the cleaning was delicate to the touch. I made sure to schedule with her again for my next cleaning in 6 months - some hygienists can be so careless with gums! And Dr Charnas is a stand up guy. I truly believe that he acts in the patients' best interest and not his own. Its been 3 years since my last dentist visit and i only had one itty, bitty cavity. He didnt try to sell or push a procedure, instead he said: "its not causing you pain, we'll keep an eye on it." The office is clean, the staff is very friendly, and the massage chair in the waiting room is a must see!

I met with the technician, Carl for the initial Invisalign consultation and he was great. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I briefly met with Dr. Charnas. Good bedside manner. Very nice. Overall great experience.
