About Dr. Mohinder Garg
Dr. Garg has more than 25 years of experience in general, aesthetic, and implant dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the College of Dentistry at New York University in 1994.
Dr. Garg received his first fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1999. He completed continuing education courses in implant dentistry and earned both fellowship and mastership awards in this field from the American Dental Implant Association.
Recently, Dr. Garg was honored with the Diplomate award from the American Dental Implant Association. He is a member of numerous study clubs and actively participates in many continuing education programs.

The doctor tried to tell me that I have a serious situation going on in my tooth based on the X-ray; he didn’t even looked at the tooth. The assistant who checked my tooth when I first walked in said it looked like a normal root canal! After checked with the doctor with the doctor, came back, and hit my tooth harder than normal! And the doctor said he couldn’t do anything about it until I went to a specialist to get my tooth pulled out so he could do an implant! The whole thing didn’t feel right. I wouldn’t recommend.

I have horrible anxiety when it comes to dentists. I let the hygienist know that at the beginning and he made sure to let me know what he was doing during the x-rays and cleanings and kept me at ease. Same for Dr. Garg. He went over what needed to be addressed and, he too, put me at ease explaining everything and assuring me while I had a few small cavities (which I wasn’t surprised) my teeth and gums are healthy. A friend recommended him and I’m so glad she did.

I came in due to gum-related discomfort, but I felt the visit focused more on other issues rather than the one I was concerned about. While I understand the importance of a thorough check-up, I left feeling that my primary concern wasn’t fully addressed, and I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the experience.

Waste of time. Went in for a toothache due to a cracked filling. I’m 9 months pregnant and I mentioned it in the forms I filled out before my appt. The only thing done for me was x-ray. They had me waiting for over an hour for the Dr to come and say that he can’t do anything for me that I need to see an Oral Surgeon due to my pregnancy. Why giving me an appt if I was not going to get any treatment? This place is all about money. An employee came to ask twice if I had insurance. That was their only concern. So unprofessional to take me in knowing that I was pregnant and I was not going to get any help. Lastly, the Dr didn’t even explain what it is that I need. That’s the least they could’ve done.

He is a great doctor and really cares for his patients. I have seen this doctor before for wisdom tooth removal, didn’t have any pain or swelling after it was taken out.
Hygienist who take care of dental cleaning appointments are good as well.

Not at all professional. very pushy to get the additional things done, when mentioned that need time to think about payment, got angry and behaving very un professional. Don't recommend anyone to go to this dentist.

Someone please make sure the dentist knows that he grabs people's cheek a little too roughly when he is working. Please also let him know that he cut my tongue, didn't do anything to treat it, and it is burning a lot. I'm a type-1 diabetic and this could get septic! I can't even eat or drink anything without my tongue burning too much. Again, I'm a diabetic.

Dr. talks too much. He will scare you for your condition.
First appointment was confirmed for regular cleaning and he didn't clean instead provide consultation and took x-rays.
Gave follow up appointment with his hygienist for deep cleaning and she was not present when I reached for my appointment. Dr. offered to clean himself only one side so that I have to come again and I refused.
Also couldn't work with my Cigna insurance and couldn't get required proper approvals.
What a waste of time visiting twice to Dr's office.

Wait time is very less. Usually within 5-10 minutes you are seen after signing in. Office is always very clean and organized. Staff members are beyond helpful and always nice. I always look forward to seeing the entire staff and having my teeth taken care at mg dental!
