Dr. Beheshtian was very honest and kind. I have to have a tooth pulled and he made me feel like itwas going to be a walk in the park.

Receptionist is very helpful, Radiologist is a sweetheart good natured, Dr Beheshtian is kind, very thorough, and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. This is my first visit, looks very promising.

the dentist was nice but defensive and hesitant when I asked where he was from with his accent. The girl at the front desk seemed to have limited knowledge of operations and/or ability to look up my insurance plan. I hadto spend several minutes to look up the plan number when all that was needed was my social security number which I provided. I had filled out all of my history and previsit paperwork online prior to the appointment to avoid spending extra time waiting. Somehow the office staff was unable to locate it and I had to fill it out again. After my exam a very abrupt woman came in to speak with me about my insurance plan and what was and was not covered. She stated that I was not able to have a general cleaning because my bone was deteriorating and I had a "DISEASE OK". She went on to say that I needed to have a deep cleaning because of my so called new disease and I was then refused a general cleaning and was told that a general cleaning was no longer a preventative measure as I had already developed the disease and bone deterioration and because of that insurance would not pay for a "general preventative cleaning". She asked how long it had been since I last had a cleaning and I told her about a year and a half. She then stated that it has been in the past year and a half that insurances have been denying claims for preventative cleanings and that once they saw my xrays reflecting my new found/diagnosed disease the insurance would surely deny the claim and they would not get reimbursed for the general preventative cleaning. I did need to have a filling fixed that had fallen out and because they had taken xrays already I went ahead and scheduled the appointment to have the filling fixed. The doctor/dentist was fairly nice with decent bedside manner so I just went with it wanting to get it taken care of. So the abrasive woman turns the computer screen toward me to look at and schedule the appointment. I'm looking and it and there are other peoples names and numbers and appointment dates and times on there. Once my appointment was scheduled I politely told her that she had just made a HIPPA violation and she was like "oh sorry". I may go back for the filling but if I'm able to find another dental office that is willing to take the xrays again free of charge I will not hesitate to cancel the appointment with this dentist. Insurance will only pay for xrays once every year or two so I'm screwed if I cant get another dentist to work with me in that regard. The gal that took the xrays and assisted the dentist was a dream. Sweet, kind, soft spoken and excellent bedside manner.
