About Dr. Murray Fryd
A 1979 licensed graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Murray Fryd holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has been practicing at Park Slope Dental Associates for the past twenty years. He specializes in General, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentistry and utilizes the latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association. Murray is also the current President of the Brooklyn Dental Study Group and frequently visits local schools to educate children on the importance of dental hygiene.

Excellent in all ways other than the wait time (46 mins after arrival time; 36 mins from appointment time). Note that you have to complete the forms by hand in person even if you've already filled them out on ZocDoc, so don't bother with the ZocDoc forms, and make sure to factor in time to complete the forms at the office. The admin and dental staff and the dentist all had great customer service/bedside manner, and once I was finally called in, everything went very quickly and smoothly.

This was a GREAT experience. I have horrible teeth, so I was really dreading this appointment, but Dr. Fryd was awesome. MUCH more gentle than my last dentist. His staff was also great and I love the head receptionist! :)

By "less than 30 minutes", I'd say it was between 5-10, so not a problem at all. Dr. Fryd is friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely keeps any pain to a minumum! His staff is wonderful and welcoming, too.

I am a new patient who has just been offered dental coverage as part of my health insurance. I chose Dr. Fryd because he is close to my home. He is a great dentist and will take very good care of my dental needs. However, he did not introduce himself when we first met and seems to have a lot on his plate, which sacrifices the amount of one on one patient care and understanding he can give. I would definitely recommend him for any procedure, or cleaning. However, if you are looking for a dentist with whom you can start a long term care plan and relationship, I might not be as quick to leave his name. The offices were very clean and the assistant and receptionist were very helpful and kind.

I had a wonderful visit, I did not wait a long time and the Doctor was wonderful! Him, The receptionist, and the assistant were very nice and treated me well. Cant wait to go back in 6 months!
