Dr. Nicole Barkhordar is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the San Mateo Dental Society (SMDC).
Dr. Barkordar was born and raised in San Mateo County. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and her Endodontics Certificate from Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine. She also obtained a Masters in Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education while in her residency.
While at UCSF, she was recognized for research, clinical excellence, and community service by receiving awards from the American Association of Dental Research and the International Association of Dental Research, Honors in UCSF Patient Centered Care, First Prize in the UCSF Annual Research Poster Session, and science journal publications.
During her three-year Endodontics residency at Harvard, she was recognized as Chief Resident and taught Pre-Clinical Endodontics. She saw pediatric patients for endodontic procedures at Children’s Hospital Boston.
Dr. Barkordar is a Board-eligible member of the American Board of Endodontists. She practices at the forefront of endodontic clinical research, utilizing the endodontic operating microscope, obtaining and evaluating 3D CT scans, and performing endodontic microsurgery.
Dr. Barkordar’s practice philosophy is to treat patients and referring colleagues with the highest quality of care and respect.

Nicole Barkhordar is a great doctor. Unfortunately ZOCDOC screwed up here. I was looking for a dentist but the Dr. Barkhordar is a endodontist. Apparently ZOCDOC does not distinguish between these disciplines and Dr. Barkhordar told me about her problem in trying to tell this to ZOCDOC since long time.
