About Dr. Nima Raoufinia
Dr. Raoufinia is a highly trained and compassionate dentist proudly serving patients in Tysons Corner, VA and the surrounding Northern Virginia communities. A Virginia native, he grew up in Vienna, VA and began his academic journey at George Mason University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology. He continued his education at Virginia Commonwealth University, studying Physiology, before pursuing his lifelong passion for dentistry.
Driven by a strong commitment to helping others and giving back to the community, Dr. Raoufinia earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Howard University College of Dentistry. He is dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry and regularly participates in continuing education courses to provide patients with the most advanced, evidence-based dental care available.
As a trusted dentist in Tysons Corner, VA, Dr. Raoufinia believes strongly in patient-centered care. The doctor showed me the exact things that were going on with my teeth and recommended that I continue doing what I have been doing to prevent further wear on my teeth.
My present doctor was going to put fillings in the divots in my teeth, which is not necessary, and would not last as long as the present tooth structure! We appreciated the honesty of his evaluation and the prevention of unnecessary fillings being done on my front teeth!

So sad that my insurance doesn’t cover this doctor. I paid for my cleaning out-of-pocket since I was so overdue. And it was worth every penny! My hygienist was phenomenal and the dentist was simply the best I’ve ever been to. I will recommend this office to all my friends without reservation! Thanks!

Positive experience. The COVID protocols made me feel safe, and the friendly office staff handled my paperwork quickly. I had a brief wait before being seen. My hygienist was knowledgeable and efficient, and when I spoke with the Dr. I felt like all my concerns were addressed and my questions answered clearly.

I had a very positive experience. I am a person who suffers from serious dental anxiety, so going to the dentist is a bit of a struggle for me. I was handled with compassion and care. My hygienist was Danny and she was very patient and kind. She checked in with me throughout my service to make sure I was okay. I also saw Dr. Nima Raoufinia, he was very gentle and has a calming demeanor. I would highly recommend this office. Everyone was really knowledgeable, thorough and they did an exceptional job with communicating next steps, recommendations and over all suggestions to improve your oral health.

I am so glad i took a chance with a new dentist. I was looking to get veneers to fix my gap. I was googling and searching for a cosmetic dentist reading endless reviews and i'm so glad i went to his office. He explained to me all my options and which option would best work for me and I went with invisalign. I'm extremely happy with results! He's very nice and the staff is really nice also highly recommend!

Though Dr. Raoufinia was unable to fix my problem (a needed root canal on a curvy tooth root) he referred me to a specialist, had his office call and make the appointment for me, gave advice about what to do until I saw the specialist, and was extremely kind as well as professional. I will visit him when it is time to get the crown I will need.
The entire staff who dealt with me was unerringly kind, polite, and professional. My old dentist retired, but I feel I have found a new one that I can be very comfortable with.

Dr. Raoufinia is probably the most gentle and considerate dentist I have ever met. He is incredibly friendly and kind, and happily explains in detail any questions I have. The office staff is great, and I hardly had to wait for my appointment at all.

The appointment actually was double booked for a routine cleaning, so Dr. Raoufinia preformed the cleaning himself. This was my first time at this office and I very much appreciate the entire team and their friendliness. The office also utilizes a lot of technology, which was very helpful to teach me how to better my dental health
