He graduated among the top of his class from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was accepted directly into an oral surgery residency following graduation. His residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery took place at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. As part of his residency, he completed one year of training in General Surgery and Anesthesia. Dr. Raju completed his oral surgery training in 2014 and has worked in the San Antonio and Austin areas since.
