Dr. Gonzalez received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 1992. She began her career as an associate general dentist and is now a partner at the practice of Dr. Papadakis and Dr. Gonzalez where she performs all aspects of general dentistry, specializing in improving smiles with veneers and other aesthetic work. She is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, First District Dental Society, and the Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Gonzalez is the consummate cosmetic dentist. She is constantly elevating the quality of her practice with new techniques and continuing education courses. Furthermore, she makes it an utmost priority to keep her staff on the cutting edge of patient care with their continuing education courses. Because of Dr. Gonzalez’s meticulous attention to detail and perpetual drive for new technology and education, she has been an undisputed force in the superior level of care offered at the practice of Dr. Papadakis and Dr. Gonzalez.
Dr. Gonzalez is married and has three sons. She and her husband enjoy spending family time together with their boys partaking in a vast array of sports. As a music lover, Dr. Gonzalez plays piano and shares her love of music with the children by playing a wide variety of music from Rachmaninov to the Ramones.

Lovely office, was seen right away by Dr. Gonzalez. Very positive experience, would highly recommend her. Root canal treatment was started by Dr. Chung the same morning which was a relief. Dr. Chung was patient and reassuring, explained everything as we went along. Process was painless and relaxed. I would definitely recommend and will go back.

Was a brief visit - tourist with a wisdom tooth problem - Dr Gonzalez was thorough and reassuring. Picking an unknown dentist when you’re far from home can be challenging, so very pleased this was definitely an “exceeds expectations” experience.
One brief visit doesn’t give much insight, but everything worked well for me. Office had good equipment, everyone seemed well trained and efficient- I’d definitely return if I were in NY and had a dental problem.

Dr. Gonzalez is an incredible dentist who makes an uncomfortable event (seeing the dentist) completely relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend her for anyone who is in need of dental services. Moved to UES, and unfortunately had to switch dentists. On my first visit, was told I needed a filling replaced for maintenance although my previous dentist who I saw 6 months prior did not think so. I underwent the procedure and after noticed that the filling overlapped the next tooth. Several weeks later this overlap chipped off along with a portion of the filling itself. I went back to the office and was told I needed another partial refilling. This required another appt and more time off. Eventually this was fixed but they ended up charging me a copay even though this was a mistake from the original procedure. Will be looking for a new dentist.

Dr Gonzalez provided a very thorough check up. The monitor set-up for the patient to view the macro-photographs and X-rays is kind of amazing. When the patient gets to see the trouble spots up close, it's easier to understand why work needs to be done. The dental hygienist was friendly, professional and gentle as possible. The receptionist had my insurance information already in the system which was reassuring.

Had to have my first root canal which was terrifying. I was very warmly welcomed and made very comfortable as soon as I called for the appointment. Dr Gonzalez talked me through the whole procedure before and during. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure I understood all of the hoopla regarding insurance and payments. It was a nice experience during a not so nice time for my mouth at least.

I always have a positive and pleasant experience here, which is why I keep coming back. The staff is friendly and Dr. Gonzalez never rushes you. She takes the time to talk through any issues or concerns you have. She is professional, friendly and gentle. The office is impeccably clean and I love that they ask you to pick your favorite Pandora station so you can listen to music.
I would recommend Dr. Gonzalez over and over. The best dental service I have ever received, hands down.

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Gonzalez. I was having tremendous pain in my tooth - I was able to get an appointment the next morning through Zoc Doc. Jenny and the staff were so kind and made sure I knew what was covered by my insurance and what I would owe.... I have never had it broken down so thoroughly before. Dr. Gonzalez was so personable and showed me all my Xrays and explained what was going on with my tooth. I never felt rushed and she truly cared about the pain I was in. Dr. Eng who administered my root canal was careful and always checked in to make sure I was comfortable (as comfortable as you can be during a RC!) He also made sure I knew what was going on throughout the procedure. I wasn't happy I was in pain, but I couldn't have had a better experience at a doctor's office! They even let me pick my choice of music during my visit to keep me at ease. P.S. The entire office was spotless - something I'm always cautious about!

I don't typically write reviews, but I was so overwhelmed by the positive treatment I received by Dr. Gonzalez and the rest of the office staff. The office was nice and clean, Dr. Gonzalez was kind and careful to explain everything they were doing, and when I neeeded additional work that wasn't covered in my apt time Dr. Engle filled in. I would absolutely recommend visiting any of the Dr.s in this office as the entire staff was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience. Got a lot of personal attention from the dentist herself (who seems incredibly good at her job) the office is beautiful, and the experience was fast, high-tech, and convenient. Completely loved it! Plus, they didn't do that thing lots of dentists do now where they try to get you to buy expensive products and cosmetic services.
