He took my fear in stride and reminded me that it would be my choice to stop treatment at any time, and thoroughly explained each step. I’ve seen him twice now and he is always accommodating. Welcome to Dr. Bernstein's Dental Office:
Dr Bernstein has been practicing dentistry in Bay Ridge for 41 years. We are an office which strives to provide the highest level of care; we will assist patients with maximizing their insurance benefits.
Dr Bernstein is a former clinical associate professor at N.Y.U. College of Dentistry and taught for many years with the continuing dental education implant program. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a former attending dentist at the Long Island College Hospital in charge of the T.M. J.D. section. He had served for many years as an attending dentist at Bellevue Hospital.
Dr. Bernstein provides both surgical and restorative implant dentistry, so that in most cases, all implant dentistry needs are met in our office, including bone grafting. T.M.J. dysfunction and facial pain treatment, restorative, reconstructive, cosmetic and general dental services are all offered with a focus on a caring and comfortable experience for our patients.
We provide the following preventive care services:

What to expect:
After your initial examination by Dr. Bernstein he will discuss his findings with you regarding your dental health. Once this has been reviewed Dr. Bernstein will then discuss what your dental priorities are and then he will recommend a comprehensive course of treatment.

Dr. Bernstein made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. He reviewed my X-rays with me and answered to all of my questions. His assistant, Kassandra, was extremely helpful and helped to put me at ease. I experienced no discomfort and the visit was a pleasant experience. His other assistant, Giovana was extremely nice and accomodating.

Dr. Paul Bernstein is very competent, knowledgable & most of all gentle. He's an excellent diagnosed me with pneumonia. I wouldn't ever think of using another dentist. I highly recommend him for his expertise & professionalism. He also has a caring staff.

Excellent! He explains your situation to you in laymen's terms, then tells you the steps he and his staff will take to remedy it. Very comforting and professional. It's as if your his only patient.

I think he is everything someone looks for in a dentist, EXCELLENT bedside manner, answered all my questions and concerns. His staff is Great (Jessica- his assistant, Yvette his secretary). I would highly recommend!!

Dr. Bernstein gives as pain free injections as possible. He lets the patient know what to expect and what is happening at every step of the procedures. His assistant, Miriam, is professional and respectful and very efficient. Dr. Bernstein has a lovely way of teaching his assistants as he works. In general, Dr. Bernstein has an intelligent and common sense approach to treatment planning, taking the whole person into account - not just one's mouth. Today's visit was a pain-free as could be!
