“I had an excellent first-time visit with Dr. Paul Markel and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. I initially found him on ZocDoc, and after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to schedule an appointment—and I’m so glad I did.
Dr. Markel was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout the entire visit. He’s also very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor, which helped ease my nerves.
I came in with severe pain from a cavity that had progressed into a decaying tooth. Dr. Markel and his assistant quickly took X-rays to assess the situation and determine if treatment could be done the same day. I really appreciated how efficient and thorough they were—and even more so that he was able to treat me right then and there.
The procedure went smoothly, and I felt well taken care of the entire time. Both Dr. Markel and his assistant worked seamlessly together, making the experience much less stressful than I expected.”

“Changing dentist has not been the best experience since changing jobs and moving to a different state. But Dr Markel put me at ease early into my visit. He was informative, identified some trouble areas with my teeth and worked with me to recommend options for better quality of life. Unlike other dentist I explored that were pushy, quick to diagnose and push for the most extreme, evasive treatment plans. Highly recommend and will return.”
