About Dr. Philip Levis
Dr. Levis has been practicing endodontics for more than 30 years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he received both the Arthur Charles Hall Medal for proficiency in practical root canal technique and the Samuel and Hanna Holzman Endodontics Award. He was also elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
After graduating from NYU, Dr. Levis completed a residency in General Practice at Westchester Medical Center, followed by his Endodontics training at the Manhattan VA, part of the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System.
Dr. Levis is currently a clinical instructor in the Department of Endodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry. He has also completed the Evidence-Based Champion program with the American Dental Association and utilizes the latest evidence-based techniques in his practice.
A dog lover, Dr. Levis can often be seen around town with his three miniature poodles, Remy, Gabriel, and Rey.
