About Dr. Phyllis Ho
Dr. Ho is a graduate of Cornell University and received her DDS from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). While in dental school, she received a New York University Chancellor’s Award for Community Service. Dr. Ho matriculated in and completed the Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry at NYUCD and a separate externship at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital in Hong Kong. As a faculty member of NYUCD, she pursued volunteer dental projects in Ghana, then later in Vietnam and Ecuador for which she received an American Dental Association commendation for Volunteer Service. She is a disaster responder with the federal civilian-uniformed DMORT Team Region II and was deployed to WTC 2, Hurricanes Katrina and Maria. Presently, a member of the National Dental Image Repository Missing and Unidentified Review Panel, Dr. Ho was honored for this work with an FBI Assistant Director's Award for Exceptional Public Service. She has lectured in Forensics in academic settings and at conferences. She is a forensic consultant at the Office of the Medical Examiner of Suffolk County, a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the President-Elect of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, the Immediate Past President of the New York Society of Forensic Dentistry, and the Education Officer of the Suffolk Society of Forensic Dentistry. Dr. Ho maintains a private practice in general dentistry in New York City.

I was looking to get established with a new dentist after relocating to NYC, and I was lucky I came across Dr. Phyllis. She is such a rockstar! Very knowledgeable, thorough, and easy to communicate with, and she did a stellar job cleaning my teeth and treating my cavities. Her assistants are wonderful too! For the first time maybe ever, I'm actually looking forward to my next dentist appointment!!

I had 17 root canals and ceramic braces in Guangzhou 20 years ago and 3 root canals and braces in the US 4 years ago. Because a big tooth was red, swollen, inflamed and painful, I was referred to Dr. He's dentist's office by a friend. , Today is my first time here and I have no symptoms at all. After the initial root canal treatment, there was no redness and pain in the face and mouth. Many thanks to Dr. Ho for his superb skills!

Been seeing her for years and a huge fan. Travel out of my way to see her because it's worth it. She explains things clearly, has a lovely bedside manner, doesn't push/sell extra treatments and has a light touch compared to other dentists/hygienists I've used in the past when it comes to things that can be uncomfortable (shots for numbing etc). Highly recommend.

Doctor Ho is a great dentist. Besides regular cleanings she has consulted on the two implants I had and did the crowns for them. I've had no problem with the crowns and they look very natural. She's also a good storyteller and a fun person and I always enjoy a visit to her office.

I saw Dr. Ho a couple months ago and she not only educated me on my teeth but gave me 1st class treatment the whole time. I always thought I took care of my teeth but her teeth cleaning told me otherwise. If i needed major dental surgery i would come to her. I actually have a couple cavities so I'm definitely booking her again.

Dr Ho's office is located very conveniently in Midtown on Madison Avenue. Coming from Westchester with the train there is a convenient street entrance for Grand Central on 47th St/ Madison Ave.
Dr Ho is very professional and incredibly caring. She is a great dentist and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Ho is a very knowledged and professiobal doctor who not only treats all my issues in a timely manner, but also explains to me what she is doing while working on me every single time. She always treats your teeth as if they were her own. She has significantly enhanced the appearance of my teeth and made me feel comfortable with my smile. She is highly recommended!
