About Dr. Rakhee Patel
Dr. Rakhee Patel is a dentist who strives to treat her patients as she would her own family. Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Rakhee Patel received her undergraduate training at The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with honors.
After college, she completed her dental school education at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. While there, Dr. Patel became extremely well rounded as a clinician and focused on the betterment of society through many public health courses, thus earning a Certificate in Public Health.
She decided to further her training through a General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center, Long Island College Hospital at SUNY Downstate Campus. This hospital training allowed Dr. Patel to gain further experience in many different areas of dentistry, including dental cleanings, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, oral surgery, and emergency dentistry.
Dr. Patel is very well trained in her field and is constantly taking continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest technology. She believes in delivering the high quality care to her patients in a comfortable environment.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking, kickboxing, and spending time with family and friends. She strongly believes in giving back to the community, and devotes a substantial amount of time in mentoring young children.
