Dr. Raveena Sharma Jagwani brings to our practice a background of expertise in basic science, dental research, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She believes in "Excellence" and in treating all patients with the highest quality of care.
Dr. Jagwani is very excited about dentistry and its future because of the technology available today. She feels the advanced technology available in our practice has created a great opportunity for presenting treatment options to patients. Dr. Jagwani especially appreciates the benefits she can provide for her patients using lasers, digital radiography, and the intra-oral camera that enables us to actually show our patients their own teeth on a large monitor screen.
After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Art from Binghamton University, Dr. Jagwani completed her Doctoral degree from Stony Brook University Dental School where she also undertook specialty training. She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry with a focus on Implantology, Prosthodontics and Cosmetic dentistry (porcelain veneers). Her specialty training also includes Oral Diagnostics and Management of the Medically Compromised Patient and Geriatric Care.
Dr. Raveena Jagwani is a Clinical Assistant Professor in General Dentistry at Stony Brook Dental School. She teaches Cosmetic dentistry and is co-director of the Advanced Dental Care Clinic. This Clinic serves a community in need of care for severe cavities and salivary chemistry problems by new and innovative oral diagnostic tools and products. Dr. Jagwani finds her dual careers of dentist and teacher to be both challenging and deeply satisfying.

Dr. Jagwani spent mayby 45 min just going over my treatment plan and her findings/treatment ideas. She's very theoretical and very soft spoken/pleasant lady and very experienced doctor. Absolutely painless experience at Midtown Dental Excellence! Finally loving coming to see my dentist.
