Dr. Alkhunaizi pursued dentistry driven by her passion for both artistry and science, finding fulfillment in the unique intersection of the two. Following her graduation from dental school in 2005, she pursued advanced training in Esthetic Dentistry. During her training in Boston, she presented her research papers at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and worked as a part time adjunct clinical professor. After graduation, Dr.Alkhunaizi worked at a hospital-based private practice for three years, where she treated numerous restorative clinical cases and actively engaged in peer review and practice improvement committees. Her passion for orthodontics led her to pursue a residency program at Jacksonville University. Dr.Alkhunaizi completed her training in 2014 and was awarded the prestigious AAO award for exceptional interest in the development of the oro-facial complex. In 2015, Dr. Alkhunaizi attained her American Board of Orthodontics Certification, signifying her unwavering commitment to excellence in orthodontic care. She continues to uphold the highest standards of quality in her work and overall dental health, taking immense pride in being part of a team that treats every patient as a cherished member of their extended dental family. Dr. Alkhunaizi also finds great joy in working with children, where her gentle approach and expertise help instill positive dental experiences from a young age. Beyond dentistry, she enjoys biking, traveling, international films and pottery.
