About Dr. Roman J Fedorciw
Dr. Roman Fedorciw has been in private practice in Cromwell since 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from New York University where he also attended New York University College of Dentistry. Upon receiving his dental degree, he completed a general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital.
As a faculty member at University of Connecticut Dental School, he participates in the mentorship program for dental students.
Dr. Fedorciw is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the Connecticut Dental Association and Middlesex County Dental Association.
Dr. Fedorciw has been acknowledged by his peers as one of the “Top Dentists” in Hartford County by Hartford Magazine and in the state of Connecticut by Connecticut Magazine.

I was nervous that it was going to be painful, but Dr Fedorciw did an excellent job minimizing any discomfort. I barely felt the needle for the novocaine and he checked in with me every few minutes to make sure I was comfortable. He explained every step of the procedure so there were no surprises. I am glad I chose Dr F and would highly recommend him.

After some hestiance finding a new dentist, ZocDoc made it easy to compare doctors in my area and book appointments online. The appointments I had this week for the exams and cleaning more than met my expectations from the reviews.
Fedorciw & Massoumi LLC is well organized, in a great location with great dentists and friendly staff. My initial exam was with Dr. Fedorciw who listened to my dental history and provided detailed explanations with advice pertaining to my specific conditions which I found to be interesting and insightful. The next day I was able to have an appointment for cleaning with Dr. Christine who was also knowledgable and non-judgemental.

Dr. Fedorciw was very thorough and very informative. He explained things in a way that I could understand. One of my big pet peeves with doctors in general is that they make up issues in order to increase their billings. Dr. Fedorciw seemed to be the exact opposite, and that is very refreshing!

As always, Dr. Fedorciw was great. He carefully explained the options, including the pros and cons of each option, taking into account my personal priorities (which he remembered from my prior visits!). He practices painless dentistry; he's the only dentist I've ever had who gives Novocaine shots that don't hurt at all. I also like that his office has the latest technology in dentistry, using computers to what seems to me to be maximum benefit. Best dentist I've ever had!

Dr. Fedorciw is the BEST DENTIST EVER! He is tremendously skilled, wonderfully caring and has a great sense of humor. He really gets to know his patients. Not only did he explain every part of my dental procedure in detail both before and as he performed each step but he constantly asked throughout the appointment about my comfort (in terms of tooth and jaw pain and in terms of anxiety). I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Fedorciw and his wonderful staff looking after my dental health!

Dr Fedorciw is the best dentist I ever had. He is fun to be with,and is very professional at the same time.I have anxiety,yet he makes me feel comfortable. He always explains the procedure, and tells me when it might hurt. He is a great human being, and I am proud to call him my dentist.

This was the absolute best dental visit I've ever had. Dr. Fedorciw was unbelievably thorough and detailed. He started the visit with a consultation to go over my health history which I've never had a dentist do before. He explained everything so that I understood and walked me through my x-rays tooth by tooth and explained what was there, the possible issues, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend him. Also, the office is brand new, very well done, and extremely clean.

I found the entire staff friendly, helpful, patient, funny and most professional. I was impressed with the modern up to date equipment, parking and location and their explanations to my many questions yesterday, 8/25/2014.
I went to my previous dentist for over 25 years before he suddenly died and needless to say, I was not happy about 'breaking in a new dentist'. The professional, friendly, kind and patient dentist and his staff, made my transition pleasant. I highly recommend them and am thankful they were recommended to me. Thank you all. Gloria

I have an irrational fear of dentists!!! Dr fedorciw is amazing!!! He has done some extensive work and I have felt absolutely NO pain during or after my visits!! And he is so caring and funny to boot!!! Highly recommend him!!!

Was a bit apprehensive of picking a dentist after not going for almost 3 years, but couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. was attentive, extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his exam. Extremely personable and easy going while remaining professional, made me feel at ease while warning me of dental health pitfalls. Left feeling confident I'd made a great choice in dentist. Gotta head back for a cleaning on Friday, and not dreading it like I used to!
