About Dr. Rosario De Vito

Dr. Rosario De Vito is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, and a native New Yorker. He has been practicing dentistry for over 29 years. He founded Park View Dental in Manhattan in 2001 with the goal of providing exceptional and comprehensive cosmetic, implant, and general dentistry. After Tufts, he completed additional training through a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. De Vito was raised in Brooklyn and Staten Island but has been living in Manhattan for over 20 years. He especially enjoys cooking, local dining, and cycling. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society since 1996.

They changed my appointment multiple times, sent me a bunch of forms at the last minute because I was going after a gap. Most importantly, they never informed me that they will charge a copay for dental cleaning which is complimentary in my insurance, until I showed up for my appointment. When I declined to accept it, they still tried to send a cancellation claim to my insurer. And this was after they changed my appointment time a few times on the day of appointment because they were “very busy”.
Avoid this place like the plague.

Had to reschedule my appointment but it ended up being for the best because everything was smooth, there was no wait time, and Dr. De Vito was able to take his time cleaning my teeth so I didn’t feel rushed. He can talk about anything and makes you feel so comfortable while he works his miracles on your teeth. Always have the best appointments with him. The staff are also super nice and accomodating!

Nearly the moment I walked in, I was seen. The hygenist was out and instead of the Doctor cancelling his appointments, he did the entire thing himself!
I've never been given a mouthwash/numbing mixture before a cleaning but I was grateful they did. Apparently it's needed if you haven't been in years.
He was incredibly thorough, kind and professional. I've already made my next appointment.

Dr De Vito lives up to his reputation! He and his office staff were so nice and helpful. He reassured me every step of the way and took all of my concerns into account. He was extremely informative and made sure that I understood my current condition and the appropriate next steps.
I was worried about this appointment because it had been a very, VERY long time since I had seen a dentist. I could not be any happier with my visit today. I only wish I hadn't waited so long. If you're on the fence about seeing a dentist for any reason, stop hesitating and make an appointment with Dr. Rosario De Vito!

Though the news I received about the condition of my teeth was less than favorable, he was very comprehensive in explaining what needed to be done and even more so worked with me on understanding the steps/stages/costs that make up the procedures I will need to have done. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and even walked me through all of the tools/techniques he was using. If you want someone who cares about what they do and their patients and isn't just going to drill aimlessly into your teeth than you've found the right guy. If you want someone whose going to drill first and ask questions later, go somewhere else.
