About Dr. Scott Ryan
Dr. Scott Ryan was born in California but spent 12 years living in Singapore and the Philippines before settling down in Colorado. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with his dental degree and quickly became passionate about serving his community. As a dentist he is focused on fostering lifelong relationships with his patients and providing them with high-quality, comprehensive care. His down-to-earth personality creates a pleasant atmosphere, and his warm and welcoming chairside manner is one you are sure to enjoy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ryan loves to spend quality with his two sons and his daughter; together they enjoy relishing in the 300 days of sunshine in Colorado and going camping. Dr. Ryan also likes to go golfing in the summertime and skiing in the wintertime. When he isn’t in the great outdoors, he may be exploring new restaurants; Indian is his favorite cuisine!

I had a very concerning experience at this office. I was told I had gum disease and that my gums were in poor condition and bleeding, despite no bleeding being present. They refused to do a standard cleaning and said I needed a deep cleaning that was not covered by my insurance.
The hygienist was rough and repeatedly retook X-rays due to equipment issues. The dentist said my teeth were “fine” but still agreed I needed this special cleaning.
I sought a second opinion from another licensed dentist who confirmed my gums are healthy. They did identify a cavity, which aligned with what my previous dentist had been monitoring before I moved.
Additionally, the hygienist and dentist were openly flirty during my appointment, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and inconsistent with the care I later received elsewhere.

I went in to get my teeth cleaned. All they did was poke my gums and tell me its two sessions...one for the left side and for the right side come back next month. Very expensive and very disappointing. All the Dentist did was recommend Visalign. Alotta talking and nothing cleaned. Wasted my time here.

I never got the dental cleaning I booked. When I showed up at the scheduled time, the front desk told me that the hygienist left for the day an hour ago. They didn’t call or inform me about it in any way prior to me showing up in person. When I asked what day I can reschedule the cleaning to, I was told that the next availability was only in two weeks despite ZocDoc showing time slots earlier than that. I don’t have trust in this office scheduling so I’m not booking it again.

Overall, I’d describe my appointment as unprofessional. I had to arrive early because administration failed to send me my new patient forms. Once the time for my appointment occurred the dental assistants shouted across the room, “you ready?” Hah, I’m a pretty casual guy but just thought it was weird. The hygienist did an excellent job, but the dentist was pretty cold. He mumbled “did they clean your teeth?” He was standing behind me, so I did t know he was even addressing me. He then continued to mumble and I turned around and faced him in an odd position in the chair. It was an okay experience, but I won’t be back.
