Dr. Sheri Nawabi is a meticulous dentist, devoted to keeping her patients healthy, comfortable, and smiling. With more than 20 years of practice in the Washington, D.C. area, her extensive knowledge of dentistry and excellent chair-side manners make her an excellent dentist and a very approachable person.
A postgraduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington,D.C., she regularly upgrades her clinical skills by attending continuing education courses covering all areas of cosmetic and general dentistry. She has attended seminars hosted by some of the most reputable speakers in the world.

I cannot in good faith recommend this office. The dentist was not the nicest person, and the staff felt incompetent.
The dentist rushed through both my appointments. Then for the fillings appointment, they told me which teeth needed them and then did a completely different set of teeth, and then I was told I needed to make another appointment to do the teeth they originally said they would do.
Besides having issues with scheduling my appointment and accidentally double booking me at the same time as someone else (forcing him to wait and the dentist to rush), I was quoted a different number than the actual appointment ended up being, which felt underhanded.
The dentist herself was very insensitive, and kept saying she was going to do a terrible job if I keep closing my mouth too much (I have jaw issues that make it so opening my mouth is very painful) and also rushed through the numbing with the needle going everywhere and blamed it on me.

Dentist was very nice to me and reassured me. Usually, a bit nervous to go to the dentist and get scolded but they had great bedside manner and went over a plan for my best practices moving forward. Listened well and gave me a great teeth cleaning.

Great experience at this office. My teenage son came in with a broken front tooth and expected this to be the first of a series of appointments. Instead, the dentist was able to cap it on the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back as I plan to make this practice my son’s new dentistry home.

The dentist was quite good but my issue is with the client management. After my procedure, I was due to pay a cetain amount of money that was not being covered by my insurance due to the procedure type.
I inquired at the reception on how they can assist me with documentation to file a claim with my other insurance company after payment. The only response I received is "Your payment is due today". This was repeated to me severally and my question on assistance to enable me file my claim was ignored repeatedly. I was further told that the policy of the company does not allow. After I repeatedly informed her that I am paying and only require documentation to file a claim, the response was "Your payment is due today".Kindly note, I had not indicated any refusal to make payment and I have made payments before that were not covered by the insurance without any issue or delay.
After I made the payment, and informed her that my Family will no longer be retaining their services (my husband had an appointment coming up), she proceeded to say that there seems to be a misunderstanding.
The fact that my simple query was completely ignored as it seemingly did not assist the practice and I was treated as if I have an issue paying left me feeling embarassed and upset. I am a respectable member of society and I feel its only fair going forward to take my business to people who can take 30 seconds to answer one simple query I have. Your practice got the cash I owe you as it should. But its unfair not to care enough to enable me file a claim with my insurance company.

I have no idea who Sheri Nawabi is. I saw Dr. Zebe, and he was great. He gave me an extra shot of novacaine, when I asked for it, and was fast and efficient.

This was a semi-emergency visit as I had been having some gum issues. The office staff was great and very professional. The woman who did my x-rays/ cleaning was good as well. Dr. Nawabi came in, listened to my concerns and checked me out. We discussed treatment options and possible next steps. The only issue I have was when she went to ask her receptionist a billing question, she was short and dismissive with her even though it seemed clear to me the woman knew what she was talking about. I felt uncomfortable over hearing the conversation and that Dr. Nawabi used that tone with another person.
However given that this is my first visit and my experience otherwise was quite good, I plan to go back and see if this is a one time event or a pattern.

Great experience. I got helpful reminders on the appointment. I was able to easily fill out the "paperwork" ahead of time on my phone. I was seen right away by the dentist. I got good advice at my checkup. And I was in and out for my cleaning in 20 minutes.

Dr. Nawabi has such a soothing voice and demeanor. I went in to get an X-ray. Was not prepared to have any work done. As soon as she started talking about how some things needed to get done. My anxiety kicked in 1000%. But as you listen to her, her voice is calming and she lets you know that she is just giving you her professional opinion. But ultimately its up to me. I understood the severity of waiting any long and she handled her business.

Excellent experience. I haven’t been back to the dentist in a while and I wasn’t shamed or scolded. Also, she was very honest and direct with me about what I needed, but definitely dis NOT try to “upsell” me on procedures or other things I didn’t need (e.g., I still have my wisdom teeth but they’ve given me no trouble yet, so when she asked about them and I said no pain/discomfort/issues, she said oh okay! And moved on). A very professional/direct/no bonded demeanor balanced with bedside manor and genuine communication. I was nervous about my first appointment in a while (and ashamed of how long it had been) and I felt respected and well treated, AND like my budget was also honored.
