About Dr. Sinclair Davis
Dr. Davis was born in Richmond, VA, to an American father, a Pathologist, and an Argentine mother, a Child Neurologist. He moved with his two older brothers to Bethesda, MD, at 3 years old. Before attending dental school, he taught extemporaneous writing and remedial math at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda for one year. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, during which he completed multiple extended externships in oral surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in 1989 and 1990, graduating in 1991. Following dental school, Dr. Davis completed a Fellowship in Oral Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. In 1993, he began his private practice in the Washington, D.C. area, focusing on Oral Surgery, Endodontics, and Aesthetics-his three passions in dentistry.

Dr. Davis is personable and obviously very proud of his work and is great at his job. (Just a caution for introverts out there — he loves to chat and joke which can sometimes be a lot to take in when you have drills in your mouth.) I’d recommend him to anyone who asked!

Dr. Davis is super friendly and really experienced. Even though zocdoc did not properly booked my appointment with him, he took me in immediately. He patiently explained everything to me and I was well informed of each step throughout the process. I would recommend him to everyone.
