About Dr. Stanley Woods

Dr. Woods went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2007. While there, he was honored with the Dentsply International Award in Removable Prosthodontics for his excellence in patient care and clinical skill. Following dental school, Dr. Woods began his career with Wirick and Associates in Wilmington, NC, where he gained valuable experience from 2007 to 2009. He returned to Mississippi to open his own practice in Hernando, where he continues to provide patient-focused care to families across DeSoto County. Dr. Woods and his wife, Seetala, were married in 2007. They have two sons, Marshal and Rhodestan, who both attend Hernando schools. Between school events, sports, and family life, there's rarely a quiet moment — and that's just the way he likes it. Dr. Woods comes from a family dedicated to education and service. His father, Ricky, coached high school and junior college football, while his mother, Susan, taught high school math. His brother, Thomas, is an independent pharmacist, continuing the family's strong tradition in healthcare. Outside the office, Dr. Woods enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, cooking, and traveling. He's also a lifelong fan of Ole Miss football, the New Orleans Saints, and Nashville Predators hockey. When he's not treating patients or spending time outdoors, he can often be found reading or behind the wheel as the family's go-to chauffeur. Dr. Woods and his family live, work, and attend church right here in DeSoto County. He's proud to care for the same community that helped shape his own values of hard work, kindness, and family.
