About Dr. Stephanie Smith

Dr. Stephanie Smith earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at ATSU-Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She was born and raised in Connecticut and is now a local of Scottsdale with her boyfriend, Emre, and their fur baby, Jade. Dr. Smith takes a special interest in community outreach, volunteering for annual events such as “Arizona Mission of Mercy” and “Give Kids a Smile.” She has also volunteered her time at various dental non-profits and regularly gives back to the community. Dr. Smith takes pride in being a lifelong learner and tailoring her care to be patient-centered by taking a little extra time to listen and consider patient-specific concerns and needs. She regularly stays up to date on continuing education and is currently working on achieving her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), which requires at least 500 hours of continuing education. Dr. Smith delivers comprehensive care in the field of general dentistry including but not limited to digital smile design, composite fillings, crown and bridge, composite and porcelain veneers, extractions, bone graft, implant dentistry, laser dentistry, gingivectomy, and root canal treatment, with a prime focus in cosmetic dentistry. She also has a focus in orofacial pain management which includes splint therapy, masseter BOTOX, and trigger point injections. Dr. Smith strives to deliver patient specific care and pain-free dentistry. She offers oral sedation as well as nitrous oxide gas to make sure patients are at ease during their dental treatment. In addition to aiding in dental anxiety, Dr. Smith also includes a complimentary desensitizer treatment under all restorations to aid with post-operative sensitivity after dental treatment.
