Dr. Malek has two goals that go hand in hand when performing dental care: Provide the highest quality dental care, while keeping his patients as comfortable as possible. Dr. Malek can proudly say he is a compassionate caregiver who can relate to a full spectrum of dental patients. He knows that in order to provide quality care, he must first listen carefully to his patient’s concerns. At the core of his philosophy is the strive to provide each and every patient and member of the organization value in every interaction. To accomplish this, there are three main objectives he aims to establish: Communication, Trust and Comfort. Patients admire his ability to communicate the proposed treatment plan, leading to full trust in his knowledge and capabilities. Having an excellent record of correctly diagnosing and treating dental conditions helps continue this trust. Keeping a patient relaxed and at ease during the entire visit is of utmost importance to him.
Dr. Malek is a long time resident of NJ, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Rutgers University with high honors. He then completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C., graduating at the top of his class. Dr. Malek attends the latest continuing education courses in order to keep up with advancements in dentistry. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen Rockland Dental Study Club, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and has earned his Diplomate with the International Dental Implant Association.
In January 2017, Dr. Malek took his vision of providing patients high quality dentistry with unsurpassed personalized service and made Smile Loft Dentistry a reality in Westwood, NJ. Wanting to continue providing his unique style of dentistry to more patients, he established multiple locations in Fair Lawn, NJ, Orangeburg, NY, and Ringwood, NJ.

Very happy i went to this office - everyone was friendly, punctual and great to work with. I hadn’t been to a dentist recently and they did not in any way make me feel badly about it. There were some questions around my insurance and the appointment coverage, and someone came out to talk to me about it which was great. I would happily go back and i would recommend this office.

It was great!!! The staff had the best bed side manners I have ever seen from any doctors/dental office. They were very good at making sure I was comfortable and very attentive. The receptionist even checked in on me while I was in the exam room waiting on the Dr. Malek. She felt that she didn't properly introduce herself when I arrived due to a lot patient traffic coming out of their visits, which is something I was really impressed with. The Xray tech and hygienist both did an excellent job at making sure I was as at ease during the xrays and cleaning. And Dr. Malek made sure I was well informed on what his concerns were, what needed to be done, and what the next steps should be.

Dr. Malek is an extremely patient & professional dentist. He is great at putting the patient at ease. I always feel very comfortable coming to see him. He takes the time to explain everything & answer all of my questions. I was seen right at my appointment time & was treated with the utmost gentleness & care.
