About Dr. Sumith Jampana
Dr. Sumi Jampana is not your average dentist—he’s your smile’s best friend and a proud Midtown Manhattan resident. Originally from small-town Texas, he’s spent the last 15 years making NYC his home, where he lives with his husband, Ryan, their dog, Cooper, and their cat, Jax. (Yes, it’s a full house, and no, he wouldn’t have it any other way!)
Dr. Jampana earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University and completed his residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Outside the office, you’ll likely find him hunting for the city’s best bites or planning his next dinner reservation. He’s a travel enthusiast, a yoga fan, and a live theater aficionado. And yes, he’s passionate about flossing—both professionally and recreationally. His favorite time of year? The fleeting five days of NYC spring between winter and summer.
He balances his love of good food with a good martini and avoids his least favorite things: cold weather, hot weather, cardio, and Twizzlers. At work, he’s all about blending humor, warmth, and exceptional care to make dental visits stress-free and even fun.

Doctor Sumi was excellent and very likable. He is very thorough, I should say very knowlegeable. He even extended his time just to do a couple of fillings even though I am only for hygiene. I love him. Coming back for sure.
