About Dr. Sumity Sharma
Dr. Sharma earned her dental degree from Govt. College of Dentistry, Indore, India, after qualifying through a competitive exam among thousands of students. She received recognition for her work during her studies and clinical practice.
Dr. Sharma has been practicing dentistry in and around the Bay Area after being licensed by the California Dental Board. She has worked in both very busy group practices and smaller practices that focus more on personalized patient care. She found one-on-one interaction and care more satisfying, which motivated her to open her own practice.
Dr. Sharma employs state-of-the-art technology to deliver services but firmly believes that technology is just a means; patients’ actual needs are human touch and care. Dr. Sharma and her staff invest time and effort to address patients’ questions, concerns, and anxieties.
Throughout her practice, Dr. Sharma’s greatest satisfaction has come from the “Thank You” notes she receives from patients and the smiles on their faces.
Dr. Sharma is actively involved in the local community and is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Santa Clara Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys cooking, hiking, socializing, and slaying dragons with her kids.

Tooth feels worse now that before the visit. Not thorough in the procedure and works with different assistants each time, leading to more errors.

Amazing kind staff was helpful and made me feel like they cared about my dental health. Came in with many issues and they set me up on a plan to fix them all. So far I have had a root canal which I was fearing and they were very gental. I have since brought in my 2 children for check ups and they were great with them as well!

Everyone in the staff is amazing. They take the extra time to make sure and go above and beyond. A simple cleaning made my teeth so much whiter. They removed stains that other dentist offices couldn't on my teeth. I really didn't realize how bad my teeth were until they cleaned and polished my teeth. Also I feel like they didn't try to charge my insurance excessively like other offices I have been to recently. I have definitely found the dental office I can trust my family and self with.

After discovering Dr. Sharma's great reviews on yelp, I made an appointment for a consultation for a second opinion regarding treatment. Going to the dentist is one of my worst fears in life after traumatic experiences as a child/teen however,
The front desk as well the Dr.'s assistant all made me feel at ease, and were very kind.
Although this was my first time with Dr. Sharma I plan on becoming a regular patient of hers as she is absolutely lovely, patient and helpful. She made sure all of my qustions were answered and seems to be a genuinely kind hearted human being. I highly recommend CA happy teeth and will give an update of my next visit as I hope to recomend her office to people who are terrified of the dentist like myself who are looking for a Dr. Who is as kind and helpful as Dr. Sharma.

It was my son’s very first dental visit at the age of 4 and it was such a great experience. Doctor Sharma was very informative and led him through each procedure. He was surprisingly very engaged and Dr. Sharma answered all his curious questions. I would highly recommend her services to any young children

I had taken my kids for their regular checkup. Dr.Sharma and her aide were warm and friendly. She was patient and answered all my queries and concerns. And gave my kids excellent cleaning. My sons molars were in and she put in a sealant to protect from cavities as kids have a hard time reaching in there. Excellent care.

I've had two appointments with Dr. Sharma so far. The first for an exam and cleaning, and the second a week later to extract a wisdom tooth that needed to go. I've never had an adult tooth pulled before and was incredibly nervous about it. I needn't have been. Dr. Sharma did an amazing job. I barely felt the shots used to numb my mouth. She told me in advance to raise my left hand if I felt any pain, and also paused halfway through the procedure to ask if I was doing okay. She got the tooth out in one piece, and I was in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes. That was yesterday, and I'm doing great. Minimal pain and no complications, as far as I can tell.
It can be nervewracking going to a new doctor or dentist, not knowing how good a fit they'll be for you. But so far I'm very impressed with Dr. Sharma, and I intend to continue going to her for all my dental needs. I definitely recommend her.

Dr. Sharma and staff are amazing! I've been going to Dr. Sharma over 1.5 years now and am very happy to have her as my family's dentist. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and very friendly. I and my wife had yearly checkups and root canals, and she has made the procedures pain free and as quick as possible (while still doing a great job).
I highly recommend Dr. Sharma to anyone who is looking for an excellent dentist!
