“I have been looking for an orthodontist to transfer my Invisalign care because of a recent move. I’ve visited a couple orthodontists prior to this appointment and the experience was as stark as night and day. The staff was cheery, funny, warm and personable. They had done tons of research on my insurance and other things prior to my arrival. Wait time was virtually zero. And Dr. Liebman herself was so warm and knowledgeable and attentive. And finally, it was really refreshing to not feel like I was being conned into paying ridiculous fees for transferring my care. I thought they were very transparent about fees and all the factors that influence the price, and my gut said they were being quite reasonable. Highly recommend this office and Dr. Liebman.”

Susan Kolin-Liebman is an orthodontist serving the community of Brooklyn, NY. She grew up in a family of orthodontists and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. Dr. Kolin-Liebman received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, followed by a postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics from Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Kolin-Liebman has been part of the private practice of Dr. Sue Liebman—Brooklyn orthodontist—for the last 29 years. She has achieved the highest accomplishment in the field as board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Kolin-Liebman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the New York Society for Forensic Dentistry, and the Second District Dental Society. She has lectured extensively both within the dental community and the community at large. Previously, she served as an associate clinical instructor in orthodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and as an attending at Long Island College Hospital.
Dr. Kolin-Liebman is known for her unique sense of compassion and understanding for children and adults alike. She combines that with years of expertise and an ability to assess and approach challenges thoughtfully. Dr. Kolin-Liebman and her staff continually stay informed of the latest technologies and advances in the field. I felt extremely rushed and was completely unclear on most of what was discussed. I was thinking the doctor would discuss invisalign rates, payment plans, fees etc. with me like in the past, or like other doctors have but was instantly referred to a front desk person who was also hardly present. Without telling me what exact treatment I would be getting, what the fees or rates were for, she literally just gave me a number. Literally did not say anything BUT the cost of the treatment I would be needing, no explanations, no discussions, options, nothing. This number was also DOUBLE the number I was given at my last consultation with the same doctor, at the same office, for the SAME treatment! I asked why the treatment cost had doubled and I felt like we kept hitting a wall. “This treatment will be more effective” is essentially what I kept receiving. I left feeling confused, with no answers and just denying the overall treatment. I’m so upset because I came into this consultation feeling excited and prepared to go on with a treatment I thought would be suitable and affordable for me, just like the last consultation only a year ago.

I keep saying I love this office every time I go. The staff are all professional but friendly. Who leaves with braces laughing and smiling. Oh did I mention they have been doing a great job with my braces.
The main thing is you can get braces anywhere but you cannot always find genuinely nice people like this office

This practice is very convenient for parents. The waiting room is spacious, clean and has
beautiful views. The staff was very courteous staff. During our initial consultation, Dr. Liebman
listened very carefully and gave us great options. After a year, we are extremely happy with her
treatment.

Look no further! Dr. Liebman is amazing. She is bright and up to date on all the latest studies and techniques and protocols. Dr. Liebman is patient and will spend as much time as you need or want to address all your concerns, questions, issues, to your satisfaction. As a mom of 2 herself, Dr. Liebman loves children and is gentle and kind with all her patients (she treats adults as well). Dr. Liebman is conservative in her professional approach and is always focused on what is in the best interest of her patient. Dr. Liebman's office is centrally located on Montague Street and her practice has after school as well as Saturday morning hours.
