About Dr. Tamir Shams
Dr. Tamir Shams is a Dental Surgeon who excels in his mission to help his patients achieve the smile they deserve. Creating new smiles is Dr. Shams' passion.
Dr. Shams earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and was one of two students awarded the Merit Scholars Scholarship. He was granted early admission to Boston University and became the youngest graduate of his dental program at 24 years of age (2007).
After graduating from BU, he started his successful practice in Southern California, specializing in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. In 2011, he extended his passion for creating beautiful smiles to the West Texas town of El Paso, bringing the quality of Beverly Hills dentistry to the Sun City.
In 2022, Dr. Shams married and moved back to Los Angeles full time. His new passion includes being a loving husband and father to his wonderful wife and son, while continuing to be an excellent surgeon to his patients. He invites you to experience how easy and painless it is to get your dream smile. At his office, everyone is treated like family.

Best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I HIGHLY recommend Picasso Smiles and Dr. Shams. I had all 4 wisdom teeth out, Dr. Shams and his entire team were kind, patient and overall just lovely people. Dr. Shams is also obviously very skilled and the extraction process was over in a flash.

As everyone knows going to the dentist is not really the most pleasant experience and I have been to my fair share throughout my years. Dr. Shams made me feel really comfortable and Im so happy. He definitely eased my concerns and explained to me everything in the process. I could not be more satisfied.
